I used to run one of these presses back in the 80's, surprised they are still being used. They were great machines when they ran well, the whole floor used to vibrate like hell when you wound them up to speed

This is a comedy of errors. You've got 5 guys on a small 4 color press, some of them barefoot at times. Bumping into each other. Water feed on at times, water feed off at times. At one point one guy squirts a bunch of water on the water ductor, and then a second later another guy is scraping off excess water with the top of an ink can. A bunch of rookies with no leadership!!! You guys need someone to take charge of that operation!!!

yeah I don't think I'd want to run one of these things no matter how many people are on it. There's a reason Man Roland don't make common impression machines like this anymore.

This is a four colour A1 Sheetfed press, the process used is lithographic offset. They start by making the press ready, fit the plates, ink in the ducts, set up feeder then fine tune the final print get it approved by a senior then run the job. Some jobs can be set up easily and printed straight off, some jobs can be very problematic. Noticed though four men running the machine which is unusual, could be some of them are learning but still an interesting video.
