I just don't get why people have to scream when they get a puppy. They are straight away scaring the little darling. Not just for Christmas but 10- 20+ years of responsibility. In the meantime enjoy each other.

Getting a puppy should never be a "surprise" gift. It takes a lot of consideration, looking at all the pros and cons of the responsibility and ability to care for a life that may be 12 years or longer. Giving an elderly person a puppy is not the best idea. They will have a lot of cleaning up to do, possible chewing of their home and possessions and exercising to do. Very few children are mature enough to continue caring for an animal when it's no longer cute and cuddly and needs feeding and walking daily. I have wanted a dog forever but, life circumstances haven't been right and fair on any pet. Now I'm old and think, what would happen to a beloved dog if I were to die? Who would take it in? Couldn't bear the thought of a loyal companion being surrendered to a rescue.

I’m afraid giving children a puppy is not a good thing to do they quickly get bored and I’ve seen children hitting dogs they’re supposed to love and look after they don’t take them out nothing

This exaggerated British touchy-feely emotion about puppies is weird! However, it is good business for dog breeders as demand for puppies is increasing and their prices rocketing. Poor Bitish people their souls are empty and their love to their fellow humans is shallow and false. That's why most of them love and care about a dog more than they do for a fellow human being. Weird people! Fill your heart with the true love of the creator of this world instead of trying to find true love in an animal
