I can confirm that dogs do In fact feel earthquakes, I was at my cousins house and he had a dog and it was earthquake season (I live in California near the San Andreas fault) so earthquakes were happening around every 20-30 minutes and around 10 seconds before the earthquake would come the dog would bark then the loud boom would come and the house would shake. It was kindve nerve wracking to hear that becuase the thing about my cousins house is that it is haunted due to the previous owner during of a heart attack in the early 1960s in the house, when I went in I immediately felt being watched and at some points it was hard too move it was like I was paralyzed of fear and the living room was dark and I could've swore I saw dark figures move at the corner of my eye
@XsinisterX6167 жыл бұрын
i've experienced plenty of sleep paralysis and yes it feels SCARY as fuck, is like being trapped inside a cocoon you cannot move your body only your eyes. If you try closing your eyes it feels like your body sinks or whatever, you hear this similar noise as when you are yawning. So if you ever experience it don't close your eyes it's scary! feels like you will die if you close your eyes. P.S. NO i have NEVER heard/saw anything supernatural when going through this. If you are experiencing this and want it to stop i suggest you sleep on your stomach to avoid it.

XsinisterX616 don't open your eyes if you can't move. think of a memory opposite from fear and sadness if you opened your eyes. like anger or envy or the most happy memory you could think of. if you get to scared just close your eyes if you think that feeling is better.

Sometimes i would hear a loud clap a really really loud one and when i try to turn around to see who did it,i couldnt. There was a time when I was sleeping then i woke up and someone was pulling away the blanket from me lol. But the scariest one was when i woke up not being able to move, then just like Julia said, wind blowing right onto my face and heard children's laughter getting louder and louder

I just recently looked this stuff up and apparently it has something to do with lucid dreaming. I frequently have dreams where I can't open my eyes, the lights don't turn on or I am paralysed. It mostly happens when I "wake up" within a dream. That's when you would enter the lucid dreaming stage and become aware that it's a dream. I also found out that sometimes when you are sleeping in an uncomfortable position your brain tries to wake you up by making you panic in your dream so you wake up for real and get in a more comfortable position.

The last time I had sleep paralysis, I was sleeping on one couch and my brother was sleeping on the other couch in our living room. I woke up in the middle of the night, and I saw a figure in the corner that looked like the girl from the grudge. The figure walked slowly towards me and I was trying to yell out to my brother, but I couldn't. My speech was slower and my body reaction was slower too. I was in sleep paralysis for roughly a minute, but it was the longest minute of my life. It was the scariest thing in my life.

You can't choose to have it, how you have it, nor when. Just go to sleep. Being afraid of having sleep paralysis one night doesn't mean it will happen. It's not "you're going to start having them FROM NOW ON", like Jazmine said in the video. It doesn't work that way. lol

Stress, especially including bad sleep cycles opens the world for spirits to come in contact with you. That's how sleep paralysis can occur or even getting a really bad illness.That's why they say don't go out so late when you are stressed out. My brother often gets stressed and sleep walks, so he has had sleep paralysis many times. Certain places he can really sense and even see ghosts. More superstitions: You don't really have to go out stressed, just going out late often can attract many spirits. Don't go near large bodies of water when stressed too, because something can pull you in or follow you home and you'll get very sick. One more thing don't whistle at night, because you are calling spirits.

I know y'all noticed that shit at 8:55 on Jo
@zeekawesomecus9177 жыл бұрын
Sleep paralysis almost always results in a nightmare because when the part of you wakes up while you can't move because your brain is keeping your body paralyzed, it makes you panic. The fact that you are unable to move your body makes you panic, which makes you paranoid that something is keeping you from moving or that something is going to do something to you while you are unable to defend yourself. At least that is what I feel from what I've experienced. Though I think I've only ever opened my eyes during sleep paralysis once (it could have just been a dream of my surrounding) other than that its always been an actual dream.

@false70957 жыл бұрын
Sleep paralysis happens when your body is in rem sleep and it shoots out something in your body so you can't move but when it doesn't do that thats when the sleep walkers come in but if it does that correctly and you wake up in rem by some noice or anything thats when sleep paralysis comes in place and you can get out of it by just closing your eyes and try to go back to sleep. You will have a weird feeling and maybe hear some noises but just ignore that and try to go to sleep that works for me when i get it and you should always be calm and DON'T try to move. You can also like do a technique where you think that there is a rope over you and try to drag up your body to the top of the rope there can be scary stuff around but just try to ignore them and then you will feel a feeling that feels like needles are going into your body but the real thing is that you are escaping your body and your dragging up your souls to the top of the rope. When you feel like you have came out of your body you can fly around the world and do whatever you want as long as you are sleeping and is really great but have only done it once. Sleep paralysis can also lead into lucid dreaming in some cases. If you don't like sleep paralysis then try to have a good sleeping schedule.
@ZappiestCraft7 жыл бұрын
The reason sleep paralysis is usually something scary is because of the way your mind reacts when you wake up and can not move. Waking up and not being able to move will most likely scare you causing your "dream" to appear scary since your mind is pretty much what controls your dreams. If you wake up with sleep paralysis and stay calm then nothing scary should happen and if you wake and and think happy thoughts you may see something good. This is almost like having a lucid dream, the only difference being you're actually in the real world instead of a dream.
@ColorMyLife987 жыл бұрын
Is it just me or did the video tint change? Like it changed to a blue-ish tint....
@alexptong7 жыл бұрын
I think the things you "see" during sleep paralysis are all scary is because you always know when you're paralyzed and it starts freaking you out. maybe that fear manifests into your dreams and automatically makes it scary since you have not happy thoughts about sleep paralysis. Personally i've never seen something scary during my sleep paralysis but even thought i could see, i felt like something was moving my body trying to sit me up and i kept sliding back down to my original position or even sliding off the couch i was asleep on.

Stabbing Hobo its funny how people think spirits/ghosts = clear evidence of god. It doesn't lmao. There's many other belief systems that believe in spirits and ghosts but not a god.
@StabbingHobo7 жыл бұрын
Catami many people pick and choose what they want to believe and ignore the rest, I do realise that there are many religions that are like that but lots of people claim to be atheist but believe in demons or even hell and ignore the rest
@sylvia75487 жыл бұрын
Stabbing Hobo yes many people "cherry pick" what they believe and create their own belief system but its just that, their own belief system - just because someone believes that spirits (positive or negative) exist or they believe in a "hell" type place, doesn't mean there IS god or they MUST believe in god. They are borrowing ideas and it shapes what they believe. Christianity should know all about borrowing, they borrowed christmas from paganism. But yeah i can see why you'd be upset if you believe in soemthing and someone takes "your" ideas and uses them.
@henryhunch17247 жыл бұрын
Stabbing Hobo that's the thing with me, deep down in my heart I don't believe in god but at the same time I do, only because I believe in ghost and demons and don't understand how ghost can exist but not gods

Henry Hunch look up buddhism. They believe in spirits good and bad but they dont believe in an almighty "god" like christianity. Its possible to believe in spirits and not an almighty deity. You don't have to conform to other belief systems to be comfortable in what you believe.

I used to get sleep paralysis quite frequently. The first one I can remember is hearing constant whispering in my ear and then piano playing. I don't own a piano. My parents bedroom is right next to mine so I would try so hard to pound on the wall and scream to get their help but no sound would come out of my mouth. Still hearing the whispers in my ears I can't move or scream, a black shadow would appear over me and that's all that I can remember happening once I had woken up. My second paralysis was during the day time. I was frozen and could not move, my door opens and a creepy black figure walks in, leans over me and tries to choke me. I can honestly feel myself choking. Everything that was happening felt so real. Again I would try to scream and no sound would come out. That's all I could remember of that experience. However, when I woke up, my neck was red. To anyone who has never experienced sleep paralysis, don't wish it upon yourselves.

Nadia Gonzalez no dude I love creepy shit and scary stuff is my world but fucking sleep Paralysis isn't fun and creepy, it's your heart stopping to absolute horror. I could say "think the scariest thing times a million", but to me, I'm more afraid of sleep paralysis than my own death or the end of the world

The reason you probably have scary things happen to you during sleep paralysis might be because you are feeling terror and it effects your dream. From my experience, dreams are effected from things that happened the day before sleep, and the moments during sleep. Like if you hear a conversation while sleeping, there will be people having a conversation in your dream. So you might be having a nightmare because of your sense of fear that you experience because of not being able to move.

I get my sleep paralysis when I'm super emotional before bed. It started in seventh grade but became worse during the beginning of highschool because I was suicidal and in the deepest part of my depression. I'd cry myself to sleep, only to experience sleep paralysis 30-ish minutes later. It sucked and I would try to yell and scream but my throat would just hurt in the morning so I stopped. The first time I had it I thought someone was in my bed, the second time I thought someone was in the corner of my room, then a third was a hooded figure at the foot of my bed (turns out it was my chair with clothes draped over it but it breathed during the paralysis) and the rest were just the feeling of those clamps that you twist to hold a piece down on my head. While it was just shaking at first, i started getting real pains and was almost perscribed sleep medication because I was too scared to fall asleep.

For those who don't know, sleep paralysis is the opposite of sleep walking. During a sleep walk (stroll?) Your mind is asleep but your body is awake (thats why you move) but during sleep paralysis your body sleeps while your mind is awake. You can't move because to your brain, you're still sleeping, even though you're consciously thinking. It sucks but it has to do with the connection between your brain stems and how they can be disconnected (paralysis) or too connected (walking)
