Man shot after ramming B.C. RCMP vehicle

The suspect goes in to the back seat of his car to get something,(must of been his insurance papers),his left arm is under his coat pointing towards the approaching police officer.

I was driving when this all played out. It was like something out of a Quentin Tarantino movie.

Usually I support police, and I understand that under moments of panic it's hard to make proper judgements. However, I don't see how this was justified.

Police at fault, they won't be able to afford more police if they keep getting sued by the public. Your supposed to prepare your vehicle in the yard as protocol. Supposed to set up a cone zone if working in public with no lights on. A parking lot that has public access is un professional. The officer could of been taken out and his weapons used in public against him or civilians. The parking stall could of been reserved or it was the suspects. That why you prepare in the safety of home base. Police are also supposed to park their vehicle in a way it doesn't pose a threat to the officers life or civilian.

No, the police officer could have been on a coffee break. You can't just assume and wrongfully accuse that the police were at fault just because they ended a aggravated threat in the public. That subject allegedly slammed into the cruiser at a excessive high rate of speed and on purpose too. The individual that hit the police car is definitely at fault for not coming to a understanding agreement of what's right and wrong in terms of law, a negative approach and being dismissive towards public law and performing a aggravated threat in the public and police.

Police should look at themselves instead of blaming justice system and pointing fingers to courts They are main part of the problem not the justice system

@@email5023 Ask the Honorable Judge Selwyn Romilly what he was arrested for ! Ask constable Kayla what he is suing RCMP for! Why did not he find justice in the RCMP or in the Complaint Committee?! BTW, what charges the man in the video are. And what weapon does he have ? the problem isn't arresting though, it's about killing, shooting, and use of excessive force . It is about concealment and tampering with evidence in bad faith. Police shootings just last year increased by 25%.
