That doesn't even make f'ing sense- it's supposed to be a mafia death threat, or a description of someone who was drown by the mafia(usually by putting cement boots on them), or who's dead body was disposed of in a body of water, most often a river. I know, my family is from Calabria. No one who is dead is going to be doing any swimming. I'm sorry, but if anyone is actually saying, "Swimming with the fishes.", they're a dumbass. Capice?
