My name is Chrome i have been living in y cargo van for 6 years now. I started this lifestyle BROKE and IN DEBT and after 11 months of living the van life i cleared my debt and started to put my life back together and build for a better future. I have turned my original van into a badass camper van that is lifted with all the toys. Over the years i went from being broke and stealth camping in the city and sleeping at walmarts... to now, living fulltime in a jacked up van and driving deep off-grid into the backcountry and living life in the dirt. WOW LIFE HAS CHANGED.

Try a round baking tin, sitting on a canning jar lid (or something metal) in the frying pan to keep it off the hot pan. Cover with lid or other pan. Bake with low heat on the stove. No need to heat the top cover pan. I've made pizza from scratch with home made doe this way a lot. You can bake bread this way. It's Great!

I took an old toaster oven and I set it on top of my wood stove. So it still works as a metal box with a rack or pan holder for pizza and baking. I had to remove the electric wiring because if plastic parts.. the timer still work too.

I use a cast iron frypan with a small rack or rolled up sticks of foil and a cake tin on top. Works really well. I've also cooked a fruit cake in a camp oven on top of the gas stove.

When sent across the U.S. for work I’ve sent a hard to find transmission from a secluded junkyard in New Mexico. A truck from Arkansas and an antique composting toilet minus its chamber pot from the bayou of Louisiana among many other things. It’s just fun!

SWEEEET! A quad! A must have when the trails are not van accessible! Two cast irons, yep that works well! If you want healthy pizzas, use tortilla shells, your fav pizza sauce and toppings and shredded cheese. And you won't have to cook it as long and you can make more than two pizzas during your week!

My wife’s family has 2 Canam’s and have had nothing but problems with them. They also have 3 Polaris side by sides and they love them! 4 wheelers are fun but can be dangerous. I would recommend side by sides, as they are safer and a lot more fun!

Chrome get you a Coleman folding oven that sits on top your propane burner on your stove. They work great ! And they are cheap.

My husband and I are easy rolling quaders. We ride for the scenery but for sure found ourselves in some challenging situations. We bought a red Kawasaki (no power steering) over 16 years ago. Our first ride with it we hit an embedded rock hidden in the centre of a trail and our 16th year with it (last summer) that same exact rock took our quad out. But man we loved her! She sucked the damage up somehow and got us back to camp. We had soooooo many great rides with her and she never let us down. Sooooo last summer we bought the same one Kawasaki Brute Force camo. This time it's got the power steering as we are now in our late 50's haha. Anyways, we love our Kawasaki's! Oh another thing, with our first quad (one summer), it was overheating so I grabbed one of those cheap toys out of our trailer from the dollar store that look like a tube and suck water up and then kids spray each other with them....we would use that to suck water out of a water bottle or creek and squirt it on the radiator to cool it down till we could get it fixed. My husband was so impressed with that. We kept it and it is now in the box of our new quad. Will look forward to seeing what you end up with.

Hey Chrome have you ever tried a air fryer ? I do just about everything in an air fryer. Onion rings, steak, pizza, fries to name a few. You are only limited by your imagination when it comes to an air fryer.

Getting a quad will be really cool. You will enjoy it and will make greater content. I know in the UK many farmers use them to get around their farms. The only word of warning is they can be dangerous if they tip and land on you trapping you. So it might be worth getting some training as well.

Bro, you had that arse backwards. You should have cooked it in the iron pan and used the other as a dome. I've made several pizzas in cast iron. Never done a frozen one, but I'm 💯 % positive that cast iron would've done a MUCH better job with that crust

I'm an avid quad rider. What you were driving, we would call a UTV. There are also sport quads, and I own both types. Sport quads are typically 2WD and incredibly fun to ride. They’re mostly manual shift and have a quick, agile feel. UTVs, like the one you drove, are like tanks. They can handle pretty much anything you throw at them. If you're hauling gear or crossing rough terrain, a UTV is perfect. My take on the two types of quads are a sport quad can be harder to ride but might be safer since they're not as heavy. A UTV, on the other hand, is easier to drive but can be more dangerous if it rolls over. For your kind of riding, a UTV is probably the best fit, but I think you’d definitely enjoy the thrill of a sport quad too! I don't wanna sound too cavalier. You can definitely get in trouble with both types. Just be safe, don't do anything you don't feel comfortable with, and use common sense when riding. You can't go wrong with a Can-Am. They’re beautiful and reliable machines. I have an Outlander 650, and it's fantastic. The Renegade is the top of the line, but it might be too much and too pricey for a beginner. I'd suggest starting with a 500cc model. The Sportsman or Outlander would be excellent choices. If you want something solid and more affordable, check out the CF Moto CForce models. I don't have one myself, but I’ve heard great things about them and sometimes wish I’d gone that route because of the cost. And being a beginner rider, this could be an option so you can beat that one up and maybe later down the line when ATV life has consumed you like it did me, you upgrade for something more powerful. A 500 CForce are around $6500 compared to other top brands which can run you around 9-12k. There are many other options too. Honda, Artic Cat, Suzuki and Yamaha make great quads as well. Whatever you decide, I’ll be excited to see your quad adventures!

I had a Kawasaki 750 brute force. If you rode one, you know that they are a beast! You can’t beat V- twin fuel injected four-wheel-drive 750 cc quad. That being said, Polaris and Can-Am are also good choices.
