He should of been able to have resumed his career with United. Whilst I don’t condone the audio & ignore the way he spoke to his girlfriend. I think it’s two kids somewhat dysfunctional. But to end his career at 19 years old when he has worked on himself, still with the same girl & just had a baby together seems unfair. He deserved 1 chance to turn it around, I would want that if it was my son or daughter. This woke generation apparently is for the good, not ignoring these type of situations. But they also disregard, humiliate, degrade & cancel everyone which is bullying. He had a domestic, it was wrong, he was publicly humiliated & condemned which is punishment in itself but had all proceedings dropped against him. At a humanity we need forgiveness & as long at any party involved is trying to improve as a person we should give them 1 chance to change. He didn’t get that. Thrown to the trash heap.

It seems a lot of people have made a judgement despite not having any of the facts. Matt may feel that there are things we are unaware of but that underlines the injustice of hounding a player from his livelihood because of the " no smoke without fire " excuse for mob rule. Whichever way I look at this all I can see is guilt by accusation.

Mason is a wealthy young man and most of the talented footballers in the world do not play for Man U. He has not been cast out into the wilderness, unless the great pool of young multi-millionaires in professional football can be regarded as such. @Andy-tq3om tell me how. Is it just because Mason's invlved a woman? Violence is violence whether on a woman or a man. Maguire was charged for violent conducts in Greece and he was found guilty. What did he get, sympathy from pundits, the club and even some fans. Greenwood was not found guilty, yet he was slaughtered by these same people. Remember, he had been with Utd since 7 and just at 19, he made a mistake and he was slaughtered for it. United owed him a duty of care and they failed to manage him well between age 7 and 19.

Greenwood didn't go to court cos the charges against him were dropped so it's not as if the court themselves cleared him of the charges is it??? Therefore he's still guilty. If the victim drops the charges despite all the evidence against that person then there's nothing the police or courts can do. We all seen & heard the evidence. It's like if I hit someone in the face & I got arrested & was put on trial but then that victim drops the charges technically I still assaulted that person do u know what I mean I'm still guilty & it's up to the courts to prove that but I'm free cos of the charges dropped NOT cos the courts found me innocent. This is exactly what happened regarding Greenwood. Greenwood had to go but the way it was handled by the club especially our CEO Richard Arnold was appalling

Learn the law. A person is only guilty if a court finds him guilty. In all other cases he is innocent. Your opinion does not matter. Guilt or innocence is not decided by public opinion.
