Chelsea are the club with the most trophies in the last 20s. Consistently in the campion league. Winning it twice. We are not the same lol not even remotely close. Newcastle have had 1 good season were ypu got top 4 and now have delusions of grandure. Calm yourself. Chelsea have had 2 bad seasons after our club was forcibly sold and then ripped up and put together again from scratch. There was always going to be an adjustment period. Real Madrid make and extra 100-150 million a year revenue from the new stadium. The crazy thing is they only increased capacity by 5k. Now imagine how much extra revenue united will make with an extra 20-30k capacity and increased ticked prices.

You have to contextualize a lot in this regard. Madrid have maintained the highest levels of competitiveness so that extra 5k has a very high value. That extra 20k in seating makes sense if the club recreates success on the pitch and sustains it over the long term. Yes the fanbase is large in population but - as an example - would a 200k seater church be fully booked every Sunday in Saudi Arabia?
