Funny thing about AceCombat 2… I got good enough at it that I started using the lesser planes to do the missions. I managed to fly the so-called “Aces” into the ground. They didn’t hit the ground, they went in. When they came back out, all of the fight was gone from them, and they were just easy pickings. Another thing about AceCombat 2. When just approaching target range, one could fire jut before the lock, and the missile will fly line-of-sight and nail a stationary target. Hope this helps.

@@demetriusoakley3653 it usually takes two missiles to take out any opponent. Always hang back a bit on the SU 37s. As soon as you get middle lock, they do a Cobra. If you keep your range near max, they “jump the gun,” and you pop two missiles into the plane’s back, and you can see them hit before you slide by. Also, don’t forget that your own plane needs to take two missiles to be destroyed. I have actually gotten low on fuel, and taken one while I’m taking out the last enemy fighter.

What do you mean by 9+g turn? If you mean by 2:28, that one's Kulbit maneuver IRL. Kulbit have 3.5-4 Gload. Not even close to 9G. Event for aircraft with extreme turn at that speed, the highest were 7.5 to 8G at max, they never able to hit 9G ,just by turning. If you want to hit 9G you need to turn at very high speed, and then a roll.

The Plane can go past mach 4 without any issues, meaning that a couple 30mm rounds will pierce it, but the plane is very tough and will hold together.
