Windowed mode actually can help with stuttering and other issues when sim racing. Some peoppe use it on purpose. It can also increase perceived sharpness due to the tighter smaller image. Nothing wrong with windowed mode.

@lurtzy_ you could but again then you can't get to let's say your software foe your wheel or pedlas as fast and easily. You can make adjustments much easier , settings, adjusting an fps counter like the new nvidia one through the beta app and more. Sure you could do it without and stuff but simplicity is nice. It's nice not having to minimize everything the entire time and make adjustments. This way you can do it in game easily.

It is only good for beginners because it is a cheap entry, which works to try out Simracing. Higher price wheels&pedals make driving easier, so theoretically those would actually be much better for beginners. It's just that most beginners might not know if simracing is really a hobby "fit" for them, so spending less is logical.

To be fair to Felix, the Logitech brake pedal is well known for being tough to press down on which significantly affects your ability to drive. Saying that however, even with this slight handicap, you can at least try to adapt to it and/or mess around with the G-Hub settings to fine tune your setup but given Felix's attention span, it's pointless even explaining it to him. I think Felix did a pretty good job once he got warmed up, I know the driver aids help new starters quite considerably but I think given more time he should remove the racing line and see how he gets on.

If you are really into it, you need a sim rig and got for a Moza or Fanatec/Corsair setup. It really makes some hgge difference using direct drive rather belt driven wheel base, better feel and so quiet and more torque/feedback.

One tip to avoid spinning in most cars, dont brake while turning. This usually results in spinning. Brake in a straight line before the turn to prevent this
