What a tune!! I still remember when this tune first came out and being played in some of the greatest Trance underground party’s in London, I was about 19 years old and not long landed in London looking for work. At that time everyone I spoked to wither been to Goa or was packing to go! It was the place to go at the time and you could certainly feel that energy in-between the Trance community, when this tune came out it was huge, it was well recieved by everyone, it carried allot of weight around and it still stands firm today !! I no longer live in London but I’m happy that I can look back and say that i lived through that period there, such a great city, great people, huge energy!! Massive respect to these guys too; T.I.P. & Return to the source, they too have some impressive tunes in their bag too 😉

Goa didn't catch on, in the UK until Oakenfold's Radio 1 set, in 1994. We were dancing to trance, two years before that, at the Orbit in Leeds, and the Zap, in Brighton. DJs like Sven Vath, DJ Dag, and PA acts like Hardfloor were doing the clubs in the UK, and big raves like Universe, from 1992. Sure, Goa is a distinctive flavour, but trance was already big, before Goa. I bought the Harthouse "Secret Life of Trance" LP, in early '93.
