Heard these great people on BBCR6 Music and went out and....well, stayed in and purchased their album. Such a great sound. And it looks like their live set doesn't disappoint either. This is great, they're great!

A few years ago I thought it might, but the new bands coming out now, seem to have their priorities straight. The level of innovation and creativity is very good. For a while it seemed to lose its way...I think Fat Whites are very much the catalyst for a lot of genuinely artistic bands right now.@@LouSmith

@Mrbeads oh I see what you meant. Yes, for now it seems, there is fresh, innovative impetus. I fear for the long term health, as it requires people to populate it, and the people with the credentials to do so are being cruelly priced out. So many I know are literally just clinging on. I have no rent or mortgage, and I'm finding it a struggle. The Fats definitely ushered in a new generation, inspired then to play live music, and coalesce into a scene with some real momentum and a unique inclusivity.
