In 1957 when this song was composed juke boxes were in vogue. There was shortage of 0.25 paisa coins because all musical lovers were using these coins in restaurents having juke box to listen to this masterly composition.

In the 50s and 60s..music of most of the movies was composed by SD Burman and both SD and Dev Anand have a special place in their hearts for Kishore Kumar..but..being a good composer SD knew the limitations of Kishore's voice. So, whenever the situation required in a movie for some halka fulka song, SD and Dev Anand handover that song to Kishore and whenever situation required some harkats and high pitch and melody..SD always called Rafi Sahab..
