Rob, thanks for this video. Since I currently maintain about seven Joomla sites, this seemed like a great tool. Unfortunately, after downloading the package and extracting into a new subdomain, all I get is an Internal Server Error, and without Joomla's error reporting functions, I have no clue what's wrong. The Akeeba site doesn't offer any documentation for Panopticon, so I'm stuck!

Yeah - I have had some issues with it as well. Still - it's pretty cool for something that's free when you get it working. Did you ever get it working? The documentation is here: github.com/akeeba/panopticon/wiki - could have been permissions/ownership of the folders...

I loved Joomla but I left it long ago. Surprised it’s still chugging along. It no longer has any relevance in today’s world.

Joomla is still the 2nd most installed Open Source CMS in the world. (yes - far behind WordPress and losing ground to Drupal). It's still quite popular in Europe - though it seems to have significantly declined in the US.
