Sir we hv one pt in icu of ic bleed with intraventricular extension her bp on admission was 220/130,started on lobet infusion for 3days,her heart rate came down to 48 hence we stopped lobet nd started ntg for 2days now she is off infusion of iv medicine,at present she is on nicardia 20 tds,minipress xl 5mg bd,telma 40 bd,natrilex sr 1.5 mg od still her bp is fluctuating between systolic 150 or 160 wat other anti hypertensive can we use?

USG … what’s the Rena status … NTG should be avoided on neuro patients for risk of raised ICP .. I don’t see any diuretics here which will help .

Ok … u can reduce the fluids and BP should settle as bleed starts resolving . Also post on forums for detailed discussion. Certain things can’t be discussed on KZbin comments section .
