First comment on Joel's videos but I've been watching him for a long time. I'm soon to be 66, but when I was younger I could manage 24 wings and some fries, and a couple of beers. I am not a big man( not obese), 5"10" 160lbs. Now at at my age, I eat half the wings for lunch and the rest for dinner. 131wings--Amazing!!

Well, Thanks to Joel and Smokey Bones, I broke my diet! I live 20 miles away from the Lakeland SB’s location and specifically went with one goal in mind, that was to break the so called 31 Wing amateur record. Tonight was my first time ever eating that way. I ate 33 Wings, had two waters, two Cokes and finished with a Big Banana Pudding (served in a 16 oz glass). I have to admit, even with the small amount consumed compared to Joel, by the last couple I’d reached palate / texture fatigue and was done with chewing chicken. 🤣 UPDATE! The last day of March Madness, I returned to Smokey Bones and this time I ate 36 wings much easier, but didn’t have desert. Joel had better watch out! I’m training hard and at this rate, I’ll break his 113 wing record in 27 more attempts! 🤣
