Managing and Merging Lightroom Catalogues - Dog Photography Editing

Thank you!!! I keep going back and forth about creating catalogs for each year. Some photographers like to do that and some like to create a catalog for each client. I'm still on the fence. I can see advantages to both. There are some images I took recently that I haven't imported to LR yet as I'm still trying to decide. Thanks for doing these videos. They've been extremely helpful.

Oh man I can't even imagine the pain people who create catalogues for every client find themselves in when they try to find images for their portfolio or other things! Not to mewntion the time wasted opening and closing multiple catalogues constantly!

@@UnleashedEducation I know. I just wonder about doing a separate catalog for each year. I don't know. I guess I better decide soon as I have some images to import into Lightroom, LOL. I've seen some pro photographers suggesting using separate catalogs. That's why I'm going back and forth on this.

Craig how do I empty my catalog? What you suggested on the end of this video.

Hey Yvonne, I just select all the folders in the folders panel and click remove.
