Just a few things to add. It looks like mu had some changes since this video was released: 1. In your .mbsyncrc "Master" and "Slave" is replaced with "Far" and "Near" respectively. 2. Instead of running mu index --my-address... you should do mu init --my-address... and then mu index without any parameters.

Thanks Ilia! I wasn't aware of the nomenclature change. I think I mentioned the difference in `mu index` change in one of the mu4e videos, it might be the one before this.

I've got my mu4e set up in doom emacs thanks to your previous video. I'm watching this and will try to set up multiple emails in a while. Looking forward to more content from you.

@@SystemCrafters thanks! I just have a follow up question. Now that I have set up 2 accounts. I get the following error: error in process filter: mu4e~pong-handler: Wrong type argument: characterp, "/Outlook/Sent Items" error in process filter: Wrong type argument: characterp, "/Outlook/Sent Items" Same with my gmail account. Do you have any idea how to solve this?

Your videos are top-notch and I love them because they save me much time AND enable me doing things with Emacs I otherwise wouldn't even approach. Excellent. Your mu4e stuff is the most comprehensive and complete in the internet. One Question: How can I make my background in Doom as transparent like yours? THX in advance for your feedback and have a great day, J.

Thank you for working on this series. I was experimenting with notmuch (yet to complete the setup). Some of the things might be common, have you tried notmuch setup?
@SystemCrafters3 жыл бұрын
I haven't tried notmuch in a long time and didn't get very far with what I had done so I don't remember much. I'll definitely consider doing a video or two on notmuch in the future to compare them!

now that gmail has sunset "less secure apps" for access, can you make an updated video to handle gmail?
@jackin83j3 жыл бұрын
Nicely presented. Would be nice if you can talk a little bit about how the address book & address auto complete is handled when using multiple accounts. Are contacts from both accounts merged together into a single address book? so that they are available for both contexts OR are they handled separately context based?
@SystemCrafters3 жыл бұрын
Great question! I'll be sure to cover that in one of the next videos.

Does anyone have a working config for macos with doom emacs for multiple accounts? I cannot get this to send emails. Perhaps the config is too old now?
