I'm in my 40's now,but as a 15yr old use to canoe down the Sawanee River and camp here,when I was in Camp E-Nini-Hassee..Those memories are good for me ❤️

We have been camping and swimming there for years too! I remembered when you could use both sides of the swimming area. Thanks for watching!

That deer was pretty chill with you guys at the end. Nice vid!

Thank you @Spongey Hedgey! The deer are very tame and sometimes even approach campers and park guests.

This spring looks amazing, all Ocala area is beautiful. I never new that before I started bike touring and discovered the area. Nice sharing, thanks 👍😊

so it's open ? No flood? that's nice going today. Glad it's not closed like many others .

@glenmyers7019 This is a 4 year old video. It is always best to call a spring to confirm they are open because it changes with the weather. Here is Manatee Springs number. +1 352-493-6072 Have fun! It is really neat!

It really is a great camping experience! When we did it years ago we would walk down to the boardwalk and walk around in the dark. It was a lot of fun!

Great video! Question- you said don't bring outside wood into the park. Can you use the wood you find laying around inside the park? Thanks.
@FloridaandBeyond4 жыл бұрын
Thanks @Luc Beaumont! I believe you can use the wood laying around your site but according to the website, you can request wood for a "suggested" price of $7. Hope this helps!

Can you swim there
@FloridaandBeyond2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can! It has a strong current on one side but there is an area where all the kids hang out.

I'm going camping here in July 16 2022 hope mosquitoes or gators don't eat us alive 😜🤕😳😱
@FloridaandBeyond2 жыл бұрын
You should be good with the gators but mosquitoes I can't promise. My mom always buys those tiki torches and lights them around the camp area. They seem to work. Manatee is a fun place to camp. We have done it like 3 times. Good luck!

An outside nature trail closed for the Covid thing. How stupid can they get?
@FloridaandBeyond2 жыл бұрын
I am not sure why they closed it. This was taken at the beginning of covid, so people really didn't understand the virus. Everything is open now and back to normal at the park.

@@FloridaandBeyond, thank you, that is good to hear. I will be visiting in mid February24

@Michael Cagle check their website. They always post closures of things at the very top. I just looked at it, and everything was open. Have fun on your visit!
