@luludarl25 maybe tapa, fabric made out of plants or it could be just dried leaves!

@Gille87 when I do look at the dancers a bit more, it looks much like Tahiti Ora though!

@luludarl25 looks like dried and treated banana leaves. When we use banana leaves in the islands to cook food in the underground oven, it often comes out with this look. However, I think for these costumes, they probably took green banana leaves and ironed it with a regular clothes iron. You have to keep repeating the process until you get the desired look. Ironing the sap into the leaves helps keep its shape. I wouldn't recommend this with dried banana leaves, you have treat it yourself.

The Mystery of the Invisible Leaf... It was great! But that bothered me - lol. She's one of the best Ori dancers. I recognize her from LGBT way back.

@luludarl25 look at these photos for a close up: look at the site lifeislove.eu at the Hura Tapairu 2010 album and you'll be able to see the details.

@MayaRaimondo U mean Vairani Drost? LGBT sucks now, after Tumata Robinson left w Moena and the best dancers from all over Tahiti and made Tahiti Ora! Now the group suffers under Lorenzo's regime! I dunno which group this is though, but I recognize Vairani and a few more from the former LGBT, but what I know is that many dancers dance for other groups, and a dancer doesn't necessarily dance for the same group the entire time...
