Mancera Tonka Cola Review | Love, Like, or Let-Down?

I love Tonka Cola!❤ It is definitely a grow on you fragrance. It will get better after it sits for some time. I got a sample of it about 5-6 months ago, and hadn’t worn it for some months but picked it up to spray it last week, and it was so much better than when I received it. Will definitely be picking up a bottle!☺️

So, I had an interesting experience with Choco Violet yesterday. When I bought it it was the beginning of autumn. I wore it once or twice a week for the whole of autumn and winter. Yesterday I was craving it all day, so I spritzed it on as my bedtime scent. OMG, it was soooooo SMOKY. So much so I actually looked all around me to see if there was a small fire that had spontaneously started, even looked at all the power sockets to ensure none of them had burned out. When I realized all was in order, I sniffed myself and realized it was my fragrance. When I woke up this morning it was still all I could smell. So, lesson learnt. Put Choco Violet away for the spring and summer months, and only wear it during autumn and winter 😅

I blind bought Choco Violet and I really don't like it. It has a weird smell and it stinks. I'm not sure why it has so many positive reviews because I can't even give it away😂.

Good morning…I was happy to see you reviewing this…definitely interested, because I love the cola note idea! When I saw your first impression, i definitely thought it was going to be a let down lol, but now I’m really wanting to try it since you said it’s growing on you the more you wear it. I’ve had Creation-E in my cart on Maxaroma since I commented last time about it. With sales going on through their site and a gift card I have from them…I’m finally going to buy it this week. I stopped myself because of $$/other purchases I made and because I saw this fragrance was available in the US and was half the price.

Mancera recommends letting your fragrance macerate. I'm curious how it will smell in about 2 to 3 months especially with the vanilla and spices. When I first got instant crush I was like where's the projection but after a few months I was taken aback because it was definitely now projecting lol.

Instant Crush was crazy projecting on me from the very first spray!

@@danashackleton3790 hi, i let it set for a couple of months because I got it in the summer. You have to spray it a few good times first to introduce air in the bottle then let it sit.

I like the idea of a coca cola scented perfume bug I'm not sure why citrus was added. Kinda wish it had just stayed a creamy coke gourmond

I guessed right. It’s a like for you. I could tell that you neither hated nor loved it. It might be one of those fragrances you won’t wear for a while. Some time will pass and you “discover” it again. You think, hey it’s been a while let me spray you. Lol. And then you love it. 😍 I appreciate this series. You give a great walkthrough of the fragrance. Thank you!
