This movie is criminally underrated. It's one of those movies which can make u smile with tears in your eyes. O my God pari was so good and so was Siddharth also Adha played her part with perfection. Thought it recovered it's budget but then too it deserved more. Good story, on point direction, amazing performances and a great album.

Indian audience never likes classy and subtle content. They want Kabir Singh, Baaghi 3 etc. Similarly october was not a hit as well. Then why people complain that varun and siddharth can't act or do poor content its just because it works. Marjaavan collected more than this film, street dancer earned more than october. Its not about actors, its about the audience.

Can't agree more. Everyone likes over the top movies like Kabir Singh with grand gestures and everything. Movies like October and Hasee toh Phasee show love in such a subtle and romantic way and in its pure form. Unlike Kabir Singh, where the relationship was shown to be conditional. In the latter two films love was shown to be unconditional. Between the two romantic leads love blossomed gradually without any force or domination. This is how love ideally is. Understanding and respect for the other person's private space. I'm glad that someone had the same thought as me.

Why is no one appreciating how well written the character of Karishma is.... She literally lets go of the man she was in love with for 7 years as soon as she came to know that he would be better off with someone else other than herself..... She used to push him away at times as she used to believe that he deserved someone better than her....

Her father always wondered what made karishma fall in love with nikhil as her father didn't see him as deserving cuz all of karishma's elder sisters husband's are ghar-jamai's and have done nothing of their own. That's why she used to get irritated with nikhil for silly things cuz she wanted her to-be-husband to be perfect and independent in the eyes of her father. Also, being from a rich family and film industry, she could have easily settled for any other rich guys but she too adjusted with nikhil and his fickle minded career choices in her own way for 7 years. But in the end, she did realize that she was making it a little more hard than required for nikhil all these years and not sympathizing or loving him a little more. That's why she let him go. But a real toxic person would be quite outraged, shown tantrum or exacted revenge in some other way

@TeaCup Karishma really had a weird perspective of love. Imo she did love him but she almost forced him to get a great job and have a lot of money, which is fine for some people. But she literally broke up with him many times over these matters. She basically tested his love and patience. I feel bad about how sid jst leaves her finally when they were about to get married. But tbh she did see it coming. Sid here loved both of them but his patience and love slowly faded for karishma which is understandable

Watched this movie for the first time after 8years of its release. I didn't have a clue about it, completely alien, saw the IMDb rating and decided to watch. One of the best decisions. What a movie man, I read a comment saying "this is one of those movies which will make you smile with tears in your eyes". That's facts. There were so many points in the film which just gives you a warm hug, makes you smile from the heart.. it's just mesmerizing 💯 After some digging I came to know this is actually an underrated movie with comparatively less number of admirers... that's another kind of satisfaction 🤌 The story, the characters, Parineeti and Sid performances, screenplay 🤌🤌

honestly one of their best performances. I'm still kind of shocked at how underrated this movie is. There's a depth to the scene where she starts crying. Throughout the film, Parineeti stays an intelligent geek and uses drugs as a method to cope up with emotional distress caused by being an alien in her family. They do seem to work well for most part until at this point, where she feels something so strong that no drugs can suppress it. The only thing she can do is, either accept that feeling or kill herself...... That are the drug like effects of Love, yet no drug can calm her nerves down. None except the guy she is in love with.

The scene where she said he was perfect and she wasn't good enough for him made me cry. It's lk when someone takes you for granted finally realises that the same can't be done again again because there's a limit anyone can stand. I love this movie, it isn't the typical one where the bride runs away from the wedding for the guy she likes, but the groom doing it!! I love what it's tryna promote, and I love the scene where he holds her hand when he's scared on the swinging chair. SUPER CUTE!!!

It was a beautiful movie with two imperfect people - they have flaws and still accept each other. I have seen it over and over and never get tired.
