@@HZFamilyShowOfficial I've never been there at all, just the terminal 1 and terminal 3. I just don't like the fact that they are going to get rid of terminal 1 to expand terminal 2 in its place.

But with the expansion of Terminal 2, they’re aiming to improve the overall experience with more modern facilities and better amenities. @@HZFamilyShowOfficial I don't really care about the smoothness- it's what i usually enjoy because airports are my passion and i enjoy being in them. It just feels that Manchester Airport like other airports is just caring about money and profit rather than sentimental value. And about them "improving the overall experience", to be honest is there a need? Manchester Airport already has everything that makes it really unique, most importantly it's layout. I don't think it could be any better. Better for them to let the nostalgia live on.

Is security on the same floor as where the check in counters are? As when i last travelled in 2018 uou had to go up the stairs at t2 for security. Is security near zone E of t2 on the same floor as check in counters? Ans then aftee security where do you go to find the gates

Hi @iramahmed2155, In 2018, the security process at Manchester Airport's Terminal 2 required travelers to go up the stairs. However, since then, there have been some renovations and changes to the layout. The security area is now located near Zone E of Terminal 2, and it is on the same floor as the check-in counters. This should make the process more convenient for passengers. After passing through security, you will proceed to the departure area, where you'll find the gates. If you'd like a visual guide to the updated layout, I recommend watching my video.'
