Totally agree with Robbie Earle's perspective about City being more than just having good players. They don't have the best players. Doku was playing in the French ligue 7 months ago and I don't remember big clubs going after him, same with Gvardiol, Kovacic was free last summer I don't remember big clubs going after him. Look at Jesus, guy was great at City and now average with Arsenal. City and Guardiola have created a culture where the system is bigger than any individual, that's why they always up there every season

Manchester City have by far the best chemistry out of any team. That is the difference. Morgan Rogers has come in & done really well,i didn't expect him to play that much this season,but every game he's getting better ,with Jacob Ramsay being injured alot this season it's probably helped fasttrack him into the team,but this lad has been starting most games & in front of experienced players like Zaniolo..It was a surprise signing for most Villa fans & apparently Unai's main target in January, he's looking like a real good player already & an absolute bargain. Unai Emery has improved every single player at Villa & what Unai has done in 17 months in turning Villas fortunes around is amazing considering where Villa were when he started & without spending very much on transfers. What a great guy!...... up the mighty Villa!!! 😊

But let's do some comparison : Allison vs Ederson? Van Dijk vs All City back 4? Robertson vs Gvardiol? Bradley vs Rico Lewis? Mc Allister vs Kovacic? Salah vs Foden/Grealish/Doku? Curtis Jones vs Matheo Nunez? DeBruyne vs all Liverpool midfiel? Halaand vs Nunez? Grealish vs Luis Diaz? Alexander Arnold vs Walker? Konate vs Ruben Diaz? Konate vs Jonh Stones? The answer for me is both liverpool and City have great players that could start for a combined Liv-City team. But it depends on the football you want to play.

Per Ange, as a Villa fan, I have enjoyed Ange ball too. But as Emery learned, sometimes the Prem forces a reality change. After getting spanked a few times Emery realised that the high line needed adjusting. He now tailors the offside trap to the team we are playing, and it works brilliantly. In my opinion, Ange needs to do something similar, you cannot expect your team to be a level 10 for every min of evey match especially as you are building a team. He needs to find a way to keep to his philosophy by making a few tailored adjustments depending on tour opponents an/or situation that comes up.
