i was there. son was in the walk out with leeds. one sided games as expected. man citys system is an absolute cheat code along with top level players. hides any know weaknesses and boosts strengths on top of that. city didnt get out of 3rd tbh. football is now a game of systems, a game of chess and city play 4D chess.

Bollocks, City were simply better than Leeds on the night, I was there also, it's only our 4th Youth Cup win in our history, Chelsea's domination in recent history is a lot more telling....Great turnout by Leeds tonight though, loads sat around me and I was impressed with your lot in the South stand.

@@imgoingtocountdownfromthir4580 not just better on the night, far superior man for man AND with a system like city's it just didn't allow leeds to do anything, it's the off the ball work they do that allows them to be so good when in possession. Leeds gave it as good as they could but ultimately city didn't break a sweat. overpowered system overpowered players they can spend lot of money on too. Peps football is a joy to watch if you understand the effectiveness, boring if you don't.

Poor football basics from Leeds United. Didn't mark Man C tight enough, gave them too much space. Didn't keep hold of the ball for any length of time, passed the ball backwards far to much inviting pressure, followed by the goalkeeper long balling it and giving it straight back to Man C. Didn't attack with confidence, hardly shot on goal. Leeds also looked sluggish and tired. This Man C team weren't that special but Leeds United made hard work of it.
