I Know How To Speak, the new Manchester Orchestra documentary. A behind the scenes, fly on the wall glimpse of the process of making this album; the good and the bad, the ups and the downs. This movie shares the title of our latest single. “I Know How to Speak” encompasses the wide range of emotions that the studio process brings, and we hope you enjoy seeing the work behind the scenes. I still can’t really watch it, but I think you will dig it.

I lost my son in a car accident two years ago... this song makes me cry my face off... It's so beautiful and it crashes through different thoughts of him, with the true passion of pain and the promise of eternal love. It's a spiritual experience. Thank you!!! Caught these guys in Columbus, OH last night and just stood in awe during some of their heaviest songs I normally would let loose on. All of the songs from Black Mile hit so hard sonically with such a strong emotional pull. Hope the next internal landscape Andy comes across for the band will bring fans to even higher peaks than listeners ever imaged. Every step forward by this band keeps getting better and better. Thank you Manchester

Your music is incredible sort I didn't know anything about you until just very recently. Currently I am staying at a shelter in skid row of Los Angeles CA. And your music has inspired me to do better I listened to your music every night. I know is too much to hear from someone but really I feel my heart open up so that every little thing thing that is wrong with it. Gets out in the open for me to fix. And your music gives me inspiration for my new beginning.

The Hardest part for me as a HUGE fan is the vocals fading under the instrumentals with the finished product... ps the instrumentals are AMAZING but I need to be able to hear the message being sent beyond.... "A Black Mile to The Surface"... The Wolf was much more profound (though brief) on the rehearsal vs the released product on the CD... MUCH respect and HUGE FAN Hello from Minnesota!!
