Had this video. Got it from the club shop on the forecourt some time in the 88/89 season I think. I remember getting the first club video United ever did for the 85/86 season.

I'm a Liverpool fan but charting the rise and fall of both our clubs is fascinating. I need to go back and watch those 3-4 seasons where Ferguson was given time and the rewards (unfortunate for me!). I'm humble about whatever success Liverpool have right now because it can all change without you realizing.

Great comment. Man United and Liverpool are both great clubs worthy of mutual respect. United appear light years behind Liverpool at the moment but as you say - it can change almost overnight.

That 2-2 draw with southampton was my 1st away game with utd....only 13 at the time....went down with my uncle.....he was one of tbe old school red army ATT.......good season....
