@@sue3245 he has the year extension as do all United players, so it doesn’t really finish this summer, it’s the following season, unless United decided that they didn’t want him to stay and don’t trigger the extension. Point still stands, too many players have had a few good games and get a bumper contract. How about having that discussion in the Summer provided he consistently puts in these performances for the rest of the season. God forbid we end up with another Antony, Luke Shaw, Rashford etc. situation with wages.

Have you talked to any Man United Fan lately? Amad is not underappreciated, we're infatuated with the guy. Not only that, he has been showing his defensive chops since last season under Ten Hag. I understand he didn't get as much game time, but even when he played as a forward he dropped back. I remember he completely negating Iwobi on our win against Fullham earlier in the season.

So what took you guys so long to recognize his potential?? I mean, when Ole decided to buy him, i was so delighted, because i knew how gifted he was.. But let me fast-forward it to Ten Hag's era, each time he played Amad, he performed, especially by scoring goals, but the following match, he would drop him, and i was getting real annoyed of Ten Hag, because it was not like any of our wingers was doing anything whatsoever, they were all terrible, then he went and scored the winning goal in the fa cup semi final vs Liverpool, and guess what? Ten Hag dropped him again.. But Amorim's IQ is high enough to comprehend the natural talent in him.. I already know that he is going to become a great player, so i don't need anyone else to mention it to me.. Now concerning today's performance of the team, the result is deceiving, because we weren't totally dominant, if Everton had any technical passer of the ball, we would have conceded in the first half, you know how many times in the first half Everton sliced through our midfield, but because they didn't have a creative midfielder who could pick the right passes to get behind our defense, if that was a clinical team, they would have scored probably twice in the first half.. Of course, we have made progress, but we still haven't reached anywhere yet, furthermore to be back, we are back when we start winning the league and CL again, not even when we can finish in the top 4, that would be we are on our way back.. We are only back, when we are at the top, that's our standard, that's the standard I'm accustomed to, and that's the standard I'll adhere to, anything below, that's average... But Amorim seems to be different, he seems to have a vision, and is serious about it, so I'll just wait and observe..

Garnacho is the only one i don't agree with. He just seems to have it because as an attacker he's very courageous and energetic so it gets the crowd going but technically speaking he just isn't that consistently good. Very similar to rashford, can play great sometimes, but not consistently enough

What are you talking about “no one wants to play right wing back”…firstly Amad is on the pitch getting minutes, I’m sure he’d play in goal if it would get him playing!!! Secondly when all fit you’ve got amad, dalot, mazraoui , garnanho (at a push) who could all play there and I’m sure would want to. Amad did get a run of games under Ten Hag ...Also, Amad was injured for periods of Ten Hags spell, and he was younger and inexperienced too... we need to stop linking Ten Hag to negativity, im tired of it - He inherited a terrible, in-balanced squad, whilst working alongside an awful administration/recruitment team and still achieved a trophy a season with that squad despite those hindrances AND the worst injury spell ive seen at Utd AND at the same time setting the future up blooding young players like Amad, Garnacho, Mainoo & Hojlund etc, whom with their rawness were always gonna be inconsistent short term...
