Arteta is the face of Arsenal's rebuild, but the Kroenke's were a huge part of it too. They backed him in clearing out players with no transfer fees, and making smart, but also big money signings, and enduring some lean years. Ten Hag was heavily backed in the transfer market, but they never cleared out the trash, and his signings were overly expensive, and haven't worked out. Amorim might get a decent war chest for the transfer markets, but if he isn't allowed to boot out useless players; even if it means releasing them for free, nothing will change.

Business people are the ultimate short-term thinkers. Everyone who is considered a successful businessman these days thinks only in terms of quarters. When a business person talks about "long term" what he's talking about is THE END OF NEXT QUARTER, so a maximum of 6 months. You see that cycle here. Directors of Football/Sports are supposed to guard the medium to longer term interests of the club. So a few years into the future. Owners are the ones who are supposed to take care of the real long term interests, say a decade plus. If a club has systemic, long term problems and the short-term people start firing the longer term people, you can consider that a death spiral.

Yeah Ragnick left on his own terms. Also the opposing fans were making fun of Ragnick it was not only United.

We can’t compare arsenal to united because they cane second twice. United also did this under oke and mourinho. You might say arsenal challenged for the league but if we’re all honest nobody expected arsenal to win. If arteta doesn’t win anything in the next two years, we’ll all look back to these passed years thinking united had more succes with actually having won trophies instead of trophy😊

What happened with Ashworth shows that really Ratcliffe doesnt have a clue. Instead of hiring people in the areas United is the weakest (recruitment). All he seems to be doing is cost cutting measures and raising ticket prices. If Ashworth really was the wrong guy for the job it's still on him because he hired him in the first place. But I dont understand why wasnt time given to Ashworth.

The budget of Benfica and Porto shit all over Sporting. Further to show how difficult it is to win with Sporting.

We just want a RESET. Get rid of the players that been here for several years and failed every manager they worked under. And no the fanbase was actually happy with Ragnick, because he said what some of us been saying for years. The club needs a complete overhaul (open heart surgery) like he said and he was absolutely spot on. Club is filled with mediocre players that think they're superstars, get rid of them ASAP or this will continue for years.

I don't know why England pundits keep condemning sir jim Ratcliffe for sacking dan 🙄. Dan is not what Manchester United need just take a look at the list of players signed by him in Manchester United they are all average and also look at the coach he recommended for man utd . He look average to me and a big team like Manchester United should be signing the best young players in the world not another harry maguire or sterling

you talk about patience. but they dont have that. they would rather throw trucks full of cash at a problem to solve than to use their brains for two seconds. maybe eric ten haag wasnt the guy but what about the previous managers they sacked who performed pretty well and were on the brink of transforming the club slowly. they sacked them all because they werent good enough. what they want is the next pep guardiola, but they dont have the players, staff or patience to make the next pep. they have failed because of this for the last decade and will fail to do so for the next decade too. i just feel bad for the supporters of the club who waste all of their money because they have nostalgia about the clubs former glory.

After what he did to Sporting, I honestly hope Ruben fails miserably, wrecks his whole career and is forced to work in construction. I despise that man, always smiling and hiding his true snake-like self.

There wasn’t an immediate change with Amorim ? I stopped watching immediately after that statement. You could see we already have a play pattern & identity, those losses were player error, severely subpar players. Even tho we lost 2 games, you won’t see any United fan unhappy with the results, just get rid of shh!t players.
