What a classic team Man U had! Defence wasn’t perfect, but the arsenal (haha arsenal) in midfield and attack was brutal. Nice match with a rare goal from Neville and not so rare free kick from Becks and goal from Ole 🙂

So much long ball, dreadful. I started watching in 01/02 can't remeber it being so bad. That is one thing the Pep influence has done, stopped longball fc and improved those teams lower than the top 2-4 by a long way.

I much prefer this to the boring possession drivel that pep plays and everyone tries to copy. We went long when needed but had fantastic combination play and controlled games with Keane and Scholes

@@anirudhmenon9099 There’s going long when you need to and then there’s that. Everton are literally just lumping it forward. A better balance (in terms of play style) was the second dynasty - 06/07 onwards.

@@mdavh2582 theres only 'long ball' because Beckham, Butt, Scholes, Keane etc can all deliver long range passes. You play to your strengths. Its no wonder nowadays we're stuck with shitty wingers who cant cross or shoot at all.
