We are killing it again this season. Our young lads are going to kill it for our new coach, Amorim eventually :)

I love Obi Martin. Ruthless striker mentality. 8-0 win and annoyed caused he didnt score. Love it 😂
@peacekeepermoe25 күн бұрын
You want it balanced though... Be hungry but also share. You don't want a player like that becoming selfish.
@hooky1725 күн бұрын
@@peacekeepermoe Ruud was exactly like this. One of the most selfish strikers you’d see. I have no problem with it as long as I’d doesn’t spill over in to the next game. Once the final whistle goes it’s gone. The very best strikers are selfish

38 years ago we appointed SAF in November and the rest are history with class of 92. Now we got our first head coach since 1986 also appointed in November. Hopefully the rest is history as well with class of 24.

Obi martin got a lot of growing up to do. Cant understand the support for his attitude, the team before ANY player always and find me a manager who would say otherwise. That said, u18s got so much to learn and how to channel that aggression correctly. Our u18s are so so good, exciting for the future ❤

Love the attitude from Obi Martin. Frustrated when not scoring himself. Sign of a top Striker mentality. Ronaldo Van Nistelrooy and many top strikers had that. Hojlund has that as well. Even Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy. Love to see it

You "love the attitude", do you? Personally I think he made himself look like an absolute twat....
@shriduttbhatt397725 күн бұрын
That reaction was terrible ? 😂 Being upset is different from being over the top with your reaction. His shot was going wide anyways.

I remember a video where Alan Shearer said the only thing that mattered in football was him scoring goals. He turned out alright. Obi Martin may have that attitude? Time will tell if he has the talent.
@itsinthetreesitscoming743125 күн бұрын
@@59jalex Direct me to an example of him behaving like this, because the Shearer I remember celebrated with his teammates when they scored. The phenomenon of "it's supposed to be all about me" is a recent trend....

So many of these players have incredible potentials and one player that I think will make it if it is only one is Ibragimov for sure - kid is 16 about a month younger than Chido and that ability he has on the ball, to find a pass, to cut inside, to carry the ball, decision-making, deceptive strength and above all mentality - insha'Allah he makes it and can rlly see him as one of the perfect players just behind the central forward in Amorim's system in the future.

Obi can't have that kind of attitude at utd. Your team is winning by a lot, and fans are happy ibra put it in. This guy knows he will bag so many goals so just wasnt needed
@ArielleXArielle25 күн бұрын
The coach will have to speak with Obi-Martin, making it clear that the ball should hit the back of the net no matter who puts it in there. No need to admonish any of his team mates for scoring the goal.

Obi Martin bishin about Ibragimov, not cool! thats a deadd attitude i get he is a striker/goal scorer but bruv enjoy ya assist and celebrate the goal, get over yourself, take ya time, dont try force it to that extent nobody cares. we know you are a great striker but don't lose yourself young man. enjoy the game and PLAY with ya team
@hooky1725 күн бұрын
Respectfully disagree here. I’ve got no problem with that. Selfishness is what separates the good strikers from the great. Ruud for example would have acted exactly the same. Or go and look how Defoe reacted when it happened to him with for England when Nugent poached it. What’s important is how he reacted after. You can see him cheer and move to celebrate when Ibragimov got his hat trick and got up to celebrate with his team on his assist after. None issue for me. Don’t take selfishness out of strikers
@JLWP5924 күн бұрын
Brilliant from the youngsters again although can’t understand why one or two on here are complaining about Chido, he’s a striker, and ALL strikers want to score as many goals as they can throughout their career, so stop whinging! Ruben is going to have some players to pick from if they keep on improving as they are.

I love a bit of a row on the pitch over scoring goals. Obi Martin seems very single minded, and like Ruud, if it benefits the team, it is really good to have that drive. As long as he can see a pass as well at times... unless he scores every shot that is!
