As a lifelong resident of leeds, I typically imagine we have the best looking place. I have been somewhat disabused by this array of lovely victoriana ,which in my ignorance I thought had disappeared ..deansgate is at least as impressive and pleasing as anything we have. I live in Manchester and you very rarely see shops for let in the city centre, unlike other cities. They must be doing something right.
