The Polaroid thing I think is similar to Kleenex. Some people will call facial tissue Kleenex even though it is not Kleenex brand.

Super informative and detailed! Bought this off Amazon for my niece, for Christmas/her birthday. Got the bulk pack of film and the accessories kit for her as well. I'm hoping I can help her learn all the tricks while I'm visiting for the holidays, but now I can always refer her to your video and blog! I know she's going to love it! I love your review! It was easy to follow along and clear without going wayward of the supposed topic. Your tips really helped me! I bought a yellow one 2 years ago and I had been to afraid to take pictures on the second pack. I find it incedibly adorable and the pictures -although amateur- quite endearing. And they are AMAZING for scrapbooking or even journaling! I think I'm going to invest in the bluetooth printer as well because I do want to print out pictures I have already taken digitally but still print out as an instant. Thank you for your time in taking such an amazing review on my cherished instant camera!

I always wanted one too! My dad's a photographer. Once when I was like 4, he'd just brought me to kindergarten and I remembered that we where supposed to bring a picture of ourselves, and he actually had a polaroid camera with him! So he took my picture right there and all was well :D turned out great too, I still have it. Ever since then I wanted one, but digital cameras came a few years later and polaroids just weren't a thing anymore. I'm so glad these exist now!

Hi, I just wanted to let you know they make "self-portrait" lens add-ons. I just bought one from, like, Hong Kong for about $6 free shipping on eBay. There are also color filters that clip-on the lens just like the self-portrait. Also, the self portrait clip-ons have different designs (they all have a mirror for selfies) there is a Hello Kitty inspired clip, there are also simple designs like a car, a camera, and there is a bunny face (and ears) clip on as well. They come in all the colors of the camera. The filters are set colors and so far do not have a colored plastic base, just white.

I think I'm going to buy the one you got, but since I don't take many selfies, rather of objects and outdoor photos I wanted to ask if it's good for these things too. Actually shaking the photos has never had anything to do with the pic. There is a pocket of developer liquid in the photo paper. The pocket is popped when the camera is pushed out of the camera. The only thing that would affect the development is light. New and old, so there is no need to shake either. Plus there is no ink involved. It's film and developer. Always has been.

Hello! I have an Instax Mini 8 in pink :) I got mine for my birthday in June, but I have only just now used it..I get really anxious about using up anything I have, or wasting it. A huge part being, what you said, that the film is expensive! My first picture turned out pretty nice, I think, but I'm sure I'll run into some bad pictures! Thank you for this video! I was on the fence about buying it but am definitely going to invest in one now. I have an older style "Polaroid" camera (Polaroid 660) But film for that is even MORE expensive than the fujifilm. I believe last time I checked they were $25 for 8 or 10 shots. Film isn't the same as it was when I was younger (I'm 26) and back then it was $25 for 30 shots. Anyways, will be ordering, thanks for all the tips! :)
