Mandala tealight holder | DIY Fall Autumn table decoration

What better way to heat up the fall months than with a gorgeous candle? Grab all your fall colors and join me.
I made this stone from the Happy Dotting Company's Mold for Tea lights.
I think they have two to choose from. I like this one the best. It takes about a week to make one of these due to all the drying time of the stone. But, after it was good and dry (See my video on how to make your own stones,) I painted it black and added a coat of resin. I then made this video!
The candle is something I ordered on Amazon in a pack of 8. I touched the candle holder with some gold and gave the candle a little matching touch. I'm calling this whole project "For decorative use only" and I'm not recommending lighting this candle.

I’ve had mine a long time too. I made about 4 and never painted them. I even ordered the candles for them. I’m so glad I got them out and did this. I made another to go with a painting and recently just made another for a fabulous birthday gift. You can totally do this… I stand firm that if I can do it anyone can. 💪🏻

Your tealight holder is gorgeous.I have been seriously thinking about buying some tealight molds & making them for Christmas gifts. What has been holding me back is my concern about trying to resin them. Did you have any issues with the resin running all underneath or inside the hole?

I absolutely treat these just like my rocks. I do nothing special to resin them. I have no issues at all. If my fingernails are long its a tiny bit harder to get the resin down in the candle hole edges... but the gloves help with that. LOL, it's not a huge problem and nothing is pooling down in there. I think you'll be just fine. I'm so glad you like this one. I quite enjoy these and I really do think they'd make nice extravagant gifts that we can afford with some effort. Good luck to you! I'd love to see what you end up with. I do recommend Happy Dotting Company for the Mold.

@JaDeLRocks I received 2 HDC tea light molds in the mail today. I open them up and couldn't wait, so I mixed up some cement and made one of each. They came out of the molds beautifully, now I just need to come up with the creativity to make them 1/2 as beautiful as yours 🙏
