I was struggling with the velocity triangles, but now it's a piece of cake. Thanks a lot from Egypt ❤️❤️👌

Best vedio I have ever seen for velocity triangle

This is the only explanation I have seen which does not skip over details of the way the resultant velocities arise. Bravo! Usually, it is impossible to tell if it is the inlet tip angle that is being talked about!

Dear mandal dada, I am extremely impressed with your simple explanations of a 'big bang' looking theories. Late to notice your videos. Please continue posting. I am not only simply a subscriber of you, but a fan too!! Because I am a technical mentor, and i found a new way to teach the the novices in technical field.. kudos.. keep it up..

Nice Explanation, if you could relate the angles at inlet and outlet (flow and blade), that would be cherry topping on cake.

Exceptionally outstanding explanation. But still I have a doubt, sir, cart example.. you took is similar to buses which have exhaust pipe on left of the side of the bus. But when bus move forward or away from you(assuming you are on the back side of the bus, back side of bus facing you) the gases come towards you, and not away 10:08 , you have shown otherwise, where am I wrong, please explain.
@Dr.AmitMandal7 жыл бұрын
+Nikhil the analogy is applicable when simobody is coming out of bus perpendicular to the direction of motion...could be stepping out of door.

sir plz clear the angle notation , as per axial compressor alpha is the angle b/w axial and absolute and bita is the angle b/w relative and axial but in case of centrifugal will it be same as axial or different?
@Dr.AmitMandal6 жыл бұрын
There is no as such standard notation. Follow the theory...

Respectably, I want to know that "Is velocity triangles and their equations are same for Pumps, Turbines & Compressors or they will be different in each case." Waiting for your reply. Thank You!
@Dr.AmitMandal7 жыл бұрын
+Shah Rukh Jamil cant say same, but centrifugal pumps , compressors and axial pumps compressors have almost 'same look' velocity triangles. While for axial, centrifugal turbines have different..

Sir, i couldnot understand always about velocity triangle.please explain in detail.Firstly blade moves in ccw direction, we draw the blade velocity in the direction from right to left. Secondly air moves from me to towards front. We have to draw air velocity head to towards tail of blade velocity. And then we haveto draw relative velocity from tail velocity of air to blade velocity head. Kindly explain sir.

It's explained well but only 1 error, V12= V1 - V2 where V12 is Velocity of 1 wrt 2... You are saying Cv+ U1 it should be Cv-U1=C... Other than this, it's excellent...

I have checked , and it seems all slides are correct in regards of the sign convention of vector and the concept of vector addition. however could you please tell me in which image you found difficult to understand with the same symbols as mentioned in it?
