Before the purge Mandalore was primarily a desert planet, having already been severely scarred by centuries of wars beforehand. The imperial bombs superheated the planet's surface and turned all the sand into this green-ish glass.

The Cyborg in the crab mech does remind me of the shape and sound of the Robot from the Netflix Lost in Space series. Plus, as I said in another post. Bo Katan was more worried about the person with the Dark Saber gone missing than the person himself. 😈

The Empire didn't need the Death Star to render a world uninhabitable. They dropped fusion bombs from TIE bombers, essentially nuking the planet only not nearly as much radiation as fission... That's why the surface was glassed, similar to The Glass produced by a nuclear explosion

People keep saying the Mythosaur pulled Din in but I just think the steps dropped off and he didn't know that and simply fell in and sank. It was basically an accident she seen the Mythosaur.

I think that Din will be able to wield the Darksaber with much more ease now, because now that he's bathed in the Living Waters below the Mines of Mandalore, while reciting the Creed (don't think it'll be an issue that halfway or three quarters into the Creed that he fell/sank to the bottom 😅) a great mental and emotional weight has been lifted from his heart and mind 🤔😌.

Boonta Eve is the celebration of Boonta the Hutt’s ascension to godhood. The podrace from Phantom Menace is actually the Boonta Eve Classic Oh my god, it completely flew over my head that Peli said Grogu leaped like a _lurmen!_ The lemur people in S1 of clone wars! There’s a mythosaur. There’s a mythosaur! THERE’S A MYTHOSAUR! I mean I figured, but to actually see it!

It took me two seconds while watching but I did catch the Lurmen reference. Obscure enough only us nerds would remember it! Correct me if I'm wrong, is the only previous Mythosaur sighting in the OG holiday special with Boba riding it, or was that another creature? Also loved SW Theory's line after seeing it "Guys, there is no more mythosaur. Just an Osaur now"

@@johnwkindig1613 That was another creature. A Paar’s ichthyodont. It’s common misconception that it’s a mythosaur. This is the first sighting of a living one on-screen. The only other depiction of a living one is an illustration in the Bounty Hunter Code book. You can see it in the Legends section of its Wookieepedia page

I thought Din just sunk like a rock due to his armor as they both thought the waters were not deep. Also, the creature looked like it had not moved. Maybe due to recognizing the mando armor or did not feel threatened at all or maybe just allowing the prophecy (?) to happen.

Din was definately pulled down, i have rewatched the tempo he is moving, was considering only heavy armor or rock/stair collapsed under him but no. After rewatch i think he was dragged down. But was spared after (maybe the Mythosaur realised it is a Mandalorian.... canned food.... and so spared him... and her afterwards) Soooo Bo-Katan technically has "taken the bath in the Living Waters"...... so she can be redeemed and return to the Way of the Mandalore... in the eye of the "fanatics" ?! She took the Creed as a child.... she just has to renew her vow...... and wear helmet? Or reunite the factions including the religion? Also she said "child stories".... well now she is convinced this is ALL real. Edit: typo fixed... hopefully

Those aren't crystals, it a glassing effect from high energy weapons. Basically melting, covering everything in glass. If you ever follow Halo, the Covenant did the same thing to human colony worlds.
