Harloff wasn't just upset that he wasn't invited to Galaxy's Edge, he was upset that some random chick at Collider was chosen instead who wasn't even a fan of Star Wars, rather than someone from the actual SW show. He was angry at his fellow producer who told him on air that he would be forced to cover her reporting, even though Harloff apparently outranked him. And the "fan for 4 years" comment was about him having several Star Wars focused shows over the years, yet being passed over even though he was a natural choice for reporting on it. He meant that as a longtime SW fan (and he absolutely was an old school fan even before Disney Wars) he put work into reporting on Star Wars each week for that long. He has a tendency to garble his words a lot, so it sounded like he was a fan for 4 years. And Harloff was not a shill like some others at Collider. When something SW related sucked he said so. I'm not a big fan of Harloff, I find him to be kinda annoying and mush mouthed, but the reporting on what happened came from people who had no clue what was actually going on.

You are right he wasn't a shill it was worse then that he was a failed standup comedian pretending to be a star wars fan. Collider hired a few people people on the show that were failed standup comedians pretending to be fans.

As a huge Marvel, Indiana Jones, Star Wars and Tron fan growing up, I am so thankful for Disney turning boy brands like Marvel, Indiana Jones and Star Wars into woke, failed girl brands. And in 2025 I look forward to Disney turning Tron into a failed, woke girl brand with Tron: Ares! Modern Disney is like Nosferatu, a plague-beast that just destroys everything it goes near.

Rotta being it the movie has been rumored for a while, and reports have said he is older. Jeremy Allen White, who played Kerry Von Erich in "The Iron Claw," was hired to be his voice according to the Hollywood Reporter, which would not make sense if he was still a baby. Apparently the Hutts and/or the Republic want Rotta back and hire Mando. Zeb from the "Rebels" crew is going to apparently join Mando and Grogu, so they are likely working with the Republic. As the heir to Jabba, Rotta would give the Hutts a claim to his criminal empire or would be a threat to them. Embo, who was a fan favorite in Clone Wars, is hired to kill Rotta. But Embo really wasn't a hardcore villain and in "Canon" apparently got a pardon and worked with the Republic, but ran out of credits and became a farmer on Felucia. The Imperial Remnant is also part of the movie, so I think the story will be bigger than just rescuing Rotta and will lead into the big crossover with the Thrawn story. None of this makes it good, I'm just trying to fill in what you didn't research.

Watched Skeleton Crew only cuz my son wanted to. It was actually ok and would have been better as a non-Star Wars project; easily done with a few changes; and without the 2 moms that Disney has to push.
