My boys like oranges but prefer to eat it off the skin so there’s something solid to hang onto. I just slice the ends off for them and eat the rest myself lol 🍊

@@africangreyguusje it's like a food they love eating and it's hard for them to quit it. My bird didn't like seeds and many fruits and if he was eating them and them smelled freshly cooked rice he would be coming really fast to me just to get a portion 😅

In the wild a lot of parrots eat unripe fruit. They tend to eat types of dirt that counteracts the digestive problems of unripe fruit. That is likely learned behavior, something your grey never learned. Nor does it need to since it can get ripe fruit, from you.

Give him the fruit seeds. My perrots love fresh citric fruits seeds.

you have to be careful on some seeds like apple seeds have arsenic and will kill them
