Thanks for the update Mandee!! It is always appreciated. I feel for your Dad and understand his pain of being up there in age (I am 2 years older then he) and not getting the results he had hoped for. Just remember, that of all of the interviews I have seen, none of the Volusia setup translates to any of the NE modified dirt tracks so he can still head home and hopefully dominate again. Good luck on day 5 and keep those vids coming.

It's been over 40 years since I've driven a car in anger, but you never forget that down feeling when things aren't going the way you planned. Billy Pauch is as tough as an anvil, and the support that he gets from his family, friends and fans. He'll bounce back! When I was there Thursday night, the track conditions were not the best that I have ever seen at Volusia. May not be the conditions that you're accustomed to. Best to your Dad and all of you for a better day tomorrow. Thanks for doing the videos, good or bad times.

Hey just wanted to say I enjoy your videos. Spent many friday nights at East Windsor watching your dad. Glad to see him still fighting tough as always, I always liked your dad, #303 Fred Dmuchowski was my favorite but your dad was always a favorite of mine.

When we struggled at a larger event. We had to go back to basics. Rescale the car, reset everything, back to neutral. Check pinion angle. Bird cages, make sure the car is even able to work the way it should first. Then start over after hot laps. On to tires, is this a harder compound, at all 4 corners? Softer? Watching the videos, it’s difficult to tell what the car is doing. Seems like it doesn’t want to rotate center, and lacking drive off. Just a small attempt to help. I hope tomorrow will bring better results.

Sorry for the bad day. Your dad is and always will be....a legend! When I knew he was going to be at Grandview, nothing stopped me from going. Watching him there was like watching a surgeon do his work! Safe trip home and good seeing Emilee again!

I turn 70 march 19th. It is a mental thing when you have a tough time. The weather was surprising at Volusia this week. Getting back North to your home territory, getting some Sun will be a new day. So good to see your family at the tra k. Your all a legend. Heck I took two big Tylenol daily just to come to the track and walk around Sit in the bleachers. Your family motivated us to come to the track.😎😐😍🥂🥂🥂🌭🌭🌭

thanks for the video Mandee, great insight in what it takes to race.....your Dad has got to be tired...being in my 60's also I know it takes longer to recoup when you are doing something very physical everyday......good luck tonight, can't wait to see your dad at the new Bridgeport.

That's an awful long way to travel to have follow the leader racing, maybe a handful actually were able to move forward. Reminds me the way of extra distance races are now in N.Y..

If you can't get any side bite or forward bite no matter what shocks and springs you've changed put a little ballast left side and right side on the rails center of wheelbase maybe 25 left and 15 or 20 right side rail you don't want to get too much and dig in frame on RT front but some times you gotta try something out of the box I think your dad still has the talent slick rough tracks are tough to get a handle on its not him he was riding the rim a couple nights ago looked like the car just wouldn't stick it'll all work out keep your head up it's hell when you are used to being up front then find yourself in the back going nowhere they will figure out they might have to put some crazy set up on it to get it to work as long as it is a safe one good luck and God bless you all

He is trying his best but I get it because it was really muddy on the track so that slowed him down but tell him that he should keep racing until he can't do it any more and tell him that I said hello,feel better and happy birthday and hope to see you in new egypt speedway.
@kimberlyrobbins99634 жыл бұрын
I think that he will do raceing for the rest of his life and I hope he does super at new egypt speedway and I think my dad has bought a shirt from you and do you know Kevin Viclavichec his car number is 3 and he is my uncle and your dad,Billy, and Kevin are so good at raceing because you Punches got to the championship and Kevin got in so much rocks but it is so surprising that you would have to do so much in 1 week and when you go in the pits you only have so much time to whipe down the cat so that is so much to do in a little bit of time. Tell your dad again happy birthday and feel better.

Race long enough and you will have weeks like this ! I've always contended Gulph Coast tracks are lighter than northern tracks but they get greasier in the wet too ! IMO exceling takes differnt motors, cams and carbs making power differently . Same goes for chassis and set-ups .
