100 percent. The Mile was always special; losing the fairgrounds ruined the Labor Day Race and Super Dirt Week.

I think they stopped doing the labor day race in the early 2000s as I don't remember syracuse being on any schedule except for super dirt week

We all do my friend. It was a destination race that I bragged to my work friends about attending every year, thousands of fans, a party at every campsite. Just the walk-up to the grandstands brought excitement to young and old, all the vendors, I still have a bag of dirt I saved from the track after the last race.

How many years will it take for those in charge to get it all organized? I realize the weather throws a wrench in the plans but OMG it's always a muddy and haphazard mess! Team 35 looks solid and improving (loved the new look) and the 76 needs the bugs worked out but Billy Jr. does not give an inch when he's behind the wheel and will get what he can out of it. I hope y'all have a safe and warmer week-end!

Sounds like Mandy needs to get some Biofreeze from the store. It’ll help you with your knee. It’ll probably it’s like icy hot but with the coldness, it will relieve your pain in your knees. I use it all the time on my arms and back. That’s what my chiropractor uses.

I love fuller but also one of my most horrific memories in racing involves him at brewerton in 2001 he had a nasty flip in the old m1 car and landed on he roof and they left the car at the track (I assume to be picked up by a flatbed) the cage on the car was caved in ... alot ... and to this day I'm almost positive the only reason he walked away that day was because of how short he is but still alot of those guys him Alan and Danny jimmy and all them I love every single one of those guys as I grew up watching them battle every week at fulton and brewerton

I got a lil bit of a interesting race story... So my Grandpa has always and still is racing a late model....couple years back... He blew up his 408 2 weeks before Championship night leading the points.. He had a 383 stoker under the bench he bought but never ran, he puts it in his late model.. starts the engine seems to run good sounds good... well he heads to the track on Saturday to try and keep his points lead for the championship....come in from the heat race ran second and the engine has this noise its making coming from top end of the motor, sounded like something rattling inside, they pulled the value covers checked all the valves, pulled the spark plugs all looked, so had no choice but to take a chance and go run the feature... it made it through the feature got 3rd noise was getting louder.. so they take this race car home and tear down engine to try and find what is making that noise... when he pulled the intake!!! he found 2 wrench in the valley.. well that was kinda good and bad news,,,, when they drained the oil there was silver flakes from the wrench all through the filre and in the oil. Couldn't really do much at this point besides to put all back together and hope!!!! out for the last week before championship night with this 383 full of silver flakes from the wenches all through the oil system but new oil.. got a flat tire las lap in the heat, had to start at the back for the feature...they changed the oil for the feature and he got 4th which tied him then for the points in championship night.....so the very next heading in to championship night they had no idea what the motor was gonna do.... go out for the heat race start 4th,ended up second in the heat....comes in and the motor is at 280 degrees...started 3rd in he feature 25 lap feature he ran that feature over heating the whole race but won the championship race and points... motor never blew up.. ran a feature at 300 310 for over half the race... that engine now hangs in my grandpa's shop the exact way it came out of the race car... he never tried to run it again

I think I think with the track needs to do is no for you guys that come to the Speedway you gotta get a like a power thing sent to your phone or sent to your trailer. Or something sent to your trailer I think they should have a digital timer or digital thing. See when you go into the racetrack. I think they should have something digital so that you can like a little red light into your thing there just to let you know, cause you’re I meant you’re on the media And you’re on KZbin. Just trying to get your things going here. The teams that you have you’re only shorthanded because you know things break down all the time. I just want you to know maybe you better set your perimeter forward more. Give yourself 15 minutes before everybody goes in to the racetrack. Have a set plan so when they call you like be fit try to be safe 15 minutes ahead of that and then cause I know that you guys are going to try to qualify and I hope you qualify really good but keeper keep your thumbs up. I know that you’re trying to get to where you gotta get the other that place is like a madhouse right now and so and I understand that you’re racing out of town.

Not upset but dissappinted as i was looking forward to the vic/outlaw 200 coverage but ima safely asume that you where not at the speedway so i understand that beinf said i have watched the highlights and i will say as a fan of racing and as a gan of mike and jimmy it 100% looks to me as if jimmy spun his tires or his motor stumbled maybe a similar issue to hat mike had a few years ago that being said if that was the case them penilizing mike for something out of his control is a bad call but good luck the rest of the week guys good luck to everyone running and prayers of everyones saftey this weekend hopefully no big wrecks and everyone can walk away this week and look foreward to world finals good luck team 35 and this week team 76
