Congrats, 14th to a podium, that's moving in the right direction. I was happy to see Mike wearing new gloves, now he needs to tidy up the cockpit and making it a little more crash friendly by getting those sharp edges away from body contact areas & adding some quality foam. Hope to see you all soon

Love to watch your videos. Love the way you know how to mix up the racing and chit chat… Had been wondering if you had an urge to drive yourself, so seeing you in the car and hearing you wondering about coming out of retirement meant you had raced before. So hopefully you’ll satisfy my curiosity….when did you race, how successful were you, and why did you retire….I’m sure I’m not the only one interested, so maybe you could tell us in an upcoming video? BTW, was cool seeing you in the pace car as well as the video shot from inside the track. Considering the work you put in keeping us entertained, when do you find time to sleep? 😁 Time for me to call it a night….Live drag racing on KZbin from Santa Pod, England. Early for those of us in the States. Best part, live chat with people from all over the world. This post at 2:25 am EST. …😁 Thanks for taking the time to read this Mandee. Look forward to your next video.

Grooving, grinding, and siping the tires. Helps with grip, wear, and heat management. It's a delicate balance, and each team has their own preference on how & when they do it.

a little feedback...my 2 cents for what its worth, probably nothing....anyway, ive watched 5-6 racing videos (love them and will continue to watch)...but i have some observations...probably too brutal, but just being honest...constructive criticism. Too many races that i've seen, you guys spend way too much time between 8-15 on the track. I dont understand why you guys seem to always start wayyy back but thats a concern. Then i see Mike as an "OK" driver...not terrible, not great. One of the things ive noticed is that Mike doesnt seem to attack the track..if you arent getting anywhere move up or move down on the track. Also, if someone is gaining on you or passes you or is pulling away, you arent then adjusting and moving to their line. Maybe thats just seat time, but thats what i see. He needs to be a where (like driving on the road) of more than just straight ahead. Now i love your videos so please dont stop but someone in your crew...some of the other females could be very valuable by getting timings of your hot laps, other heats and races in front of you so that you can tell if the track is getting faster or slower....is the track taking rubber....is moisture coming back up thru the track...then taking very detailed notes of your setep, weigh out tire pressures and adjustments made each night at each track...i hope someone on your team is doing this but i dont see it. I havent raced cars, but many years of dirt karting on ovals...and my job as a crew chief was to know all the above information for future reference. One other thing, Mike is so busy working on the car...I wonder if he's working on the car too much instead of concentrating on driving the car. Anyway, thanks for the awesome videos...keep them coming and attack the track and expect to win...not just do good.

It's called handy capping. You get in the top 4 in a heat you get locked into the top 16 spots, if you finish in the top two you draw for your starting spot in the top 8. If you finish out of the top 4 you run the b main and line up after the first 16 cars.
