Thank you for sharing this! (and thank your friend for letting you!) This is one of the most compelling Mandela Effect videos out there! So many examples can be chalked up to matrixing, group delusion, and 2nd degree sourcing. More personal instances like this need to be shared if there is indeed something to this. Have you or her looked through the graduating class book to find her photo, or someone who may look an awful lot like her?

I don't have a diploma from this school because it's a four year college and I transferred after the first two years. I graduated from a totally separate university that was 2000 miles away. So bizarre! I'm wondering why, in this parallel universe my dad and my brothers aren't in any of the pictures, like they are in my real college graduation. (You know, the one I remember attending in this dimension!) This is all so crazy! We ARE living in the matrix! Definitely not boring!
@hannah82546 жыл бұрын
Bella Van C. Are you sure the pictures were taken at your first college?They might be from your actual graduation, someone could have maybe sent them back for your old friends to see? The pictures also might have been taken at the end of the graduation which would explain why the hair and make up are worn off. Just a thought that came to my mind since there isn‘t anything really significant in the background of the pictures.

My mother died when I was young and one time my dad accidently found a video on KZbin of people at a pub and there was a woman in it who CLEAELY resembled my mother in every single way. I mean it wasn't even a lookalike, it WAS her and even her mannerisms were the same. Yet my mother never went to pubs without my dad and he can't remember this. But then to make things stranger... she appears in the same footage twice in different parts of the pub in different clothes. But its THE SAME PERSON, not merely lookalikes. It was as if she had twins. This was discovered a good few years ago now and my dad has not been able to find the video since. I wish I could find it.

My husband told me he was a teacher in his country (he's not from my country) when we met and his sisters and brothers all said same and he recalled stories of his teaching past..now the other day I said to him I'd love to see him teach again instead of doing this horrible graveyard shift security job he's got now...he looked at me like I had two heads and said "teaching?..but I don't know how to teach!" I was like "what?..but you were a fantastic teacher back in your home land!" He said he'd never ever been a teacher and was only a mere student, ok I was legit stunned! You guys are lucky to have found the photo's. I had several dozen photo's of me and a World War 2 German Warship that was in Bremerhaven Germany that I had taken and had a few taken of me on the ship. I had them in a photo album and was quite fond of my visits to this ship. I was writing a book about this ship a few years ago, and went to scan some of the photographs for the chapter about the ship in my book. The photo's are gone. Imagine how surprised I was when I went online to get some photo's of the ship and found out that it was never built, and has never been docked at the pier in Bremerhaven even though the Submarine that was in front of it is still there. Yea, back to the future shit is about right.

When I was 15 I went to the zoo with my friend and her young children, to help her look after them for the day. We took photos of the day and when I look back on them, I see myself wearing two different outfits on the same day. The zoo was 15 miles from my home and I'm not in the habit of carrying a spare set of clothing with me. To this day it freaks me out to see the photos. My friend was freaked out too, I would not believe this stuff had it not happened to me.

I just found this video and I have to say that I’ve had it too. In fact entire portions of my life are different than they are. People come up to me and say hey, where have you been? And I find out we have been friends for YEARS and that I even stayed in her house 5 months while homeless, that we are good friends and she knows everything abt me etc. so she has to know me well, yet we never have met and to me it’s a stranger. But I went along with it to not seem insane. And recently a guy approached me at the apt building I just moved into, acting like don’t I remember him ? No I don’t. Then he proceeded to tell me we played together and met when my band played a show at a certain club. Now I used to have a band and I sang, but we never ever played in that specific club. Yet the guy knew the songs I sang knew my band members, knew the name. He knew who I am, things abt me. Pets I once had etc. he even told me the song I sang. It’s a song I used to sing. But it never happened, and I did not use drugs or drink or anything that makes a person black out, also no one blacks out for 5 straight months, yet lived a different life during that period in time and recalls it. These are just 2 examples, there are many more. Too long to write here. So I believe you.

When I was around 11, there was a storm one night so my mom said we can all sleep downstairs together (she was single mom of 4 and felt safer that way), I had already made where I was sleeping etc and was downstairs. My sister who is a year older, and whom I shared a room with, came down with her stuff and seemed surprised that I was downstairs, because she said she just saw me kneeling behind our bedroom door.. and that I even looked up at her. I have never been able to forget this and it still sends the same emotions through me when I think of it.

I had several strange events happen. One was that I was supposed to meet a client at a sandwich shop. I had met her once when we set up the appointment. I sat at a booth inside because I don't sit outside unless the weather is perfect and their are no bugs around. That day was hot. When the client came in, she saw me at the booth and looked at me in shock. She said that she just saw me outside sitting at a table under an umbrella. She spoke to me and I said hello back. She told me that she was going inside to order a cola and she would be right out. I apparently said, "OK." She was in such shock. We both got up and looked outside and no one was sitting at the table where she saw me and spoke to me.

I never talk about personal stuff but I vividly remember shaving kinda half of my hair when I was 16. I remember going to school and my friends loving my new look, I remember my mom telling me I would miss my hair,I remember taking selfies. So a year ago my boyfriend wanted to see how i used to look with half of my head shaved: can't find a single photo. All the photos I found where kinda blurried or I just was too far or that part of my face is covered. No selfie (and I used to take a lot of those). The creepy part was that when I couldn't find a photo I asked my ex classmates if they had something from that year and NONE of them remembers me with that haircut (I kept it for half a year). My mom does remember it and the rest of my family doesn't. It's so weird and I try not to think about it (and this is not the only weird fact that has happened to me)

Here's a theory. Maybe something happened at that school which caused her to lose her arm/hand, perhaps her dad did something on her behalf to prevent this tragedy from occurring. If he had connections in the military he may of altered the past to prevent it from happening. I think you should ask her what made her switch schools, was it at her dad's behest? Or perhaps some strange occurrences which led to her changing schools? It would account for why she appeared so disheveled in those pics as well, trauma like that tends to change your perspective, maybe she didn't find the beauty stuff as important anymore.

I was walking out of a Sam's Club about 15 years ago and saw my son in front of me. I hadn't seen him in a couple of months so I reached out and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and I looked into his eyes and said "Honey I've missed you! Where have you been!" He looked at me with a curious look and said, "Who are you?" It was not my son. I was floored, he was floored. The man had a different voice, but he was exactly the same as my son. I felt like going home and questioning my husband as to his fidelity....

Nan, last year I was on my way home, my daughter passed me in her car so I put my hand up and waved, I was only a couple of feet away, she made eye contact with me but she looked straight through me at the same time, as if she didn't see me. I did wonder at the time why she was on the road in the first place because she wouldn't have been coming from work on that day or either at that time but I knew it was her, I know my own child. All this aside from the fact that I had seen her earlier in the day and she appeared to be wearing the same top and her hair was done in exactly the same way. Also she drives a car with very distinct private license plates and they were exactly as they should be. Later in the evening I was on the phone to her and I asked her why she was there at that time and she flatly denied it was her to the point she thought I'd lost the plot, she hadn't been in the area at all that day. Apparently at the exact time I saw her she was bathing her children at home (this is verifiable by a witness other than her children). I can so get where you're coming from when you say you were floored because I was the same way, it took me days if not weeks to overcome the shock of it all and to this day it scares the sh*t out of me. I keep asking myself the question, what/who the h*ll did I witness at the roadside if that wasn't actually my daughter?

I'm going to write this comment using my voice because I'm so tired of texting so bear with me I'll try to fix any misspelled words and any grammatical errors. My friend Richard told me that a story that has stuck with me for a very long time, it actually freaks me out telling it to you right now, but here goes nothing. He told me he's always had things happen to him and it's supernatural way and he's always felt like things were kind of interesting at times and then you can explain certain things and so on and so forth. But you told me about one incident that happened to him when he was 12 years old that really freaked him out and when he told me it freaked me out as well I'm 36 years old and I've been through a lot of stuff in my life very fear induced kind of things I guess you could say and some things that I weirded me out. But his story really shook me to my core and I want to share it now so without further delay here goes nothing. Richard told me when he was 12 years old he was in his living room at his parents house and he was playing with his friend it was 6 p.m. in the afternoon or that's evening I guess and he was playing with his friend next thing you know she's when he went to roll the dice he woke up in his bed and it was kind of confused. When he got up out of his bed he went to the kitchen and looked at the clock on the microwave and it was 1 a.m. in the morning, he was extremely baffled at this. Because he remembers playing with his friend at 6 p.m. the day prior, and he went back to his room. He so much fear at that moment. He told me then after that experience what it felt like at 1 in the morning. He said the air was stale almost like static it's hard for him to explain in Greater detail what he meant by that, but he said the air was dead. He then began to tell me that he felt like there was a presence there he couldn't see it but he could feel it and it was really thick in the air he just could not understand how at 6 p.m. he was playing with his friend and at 1 a.m. he wakes up in his bed and all that time has passed. So then he told me when he got to age 14, something else happened to him and scares them every single day, which is pretty shocking because Richard is one of the toughest dudes I know. He told me all he remembers was he was in the kitchen peeling carrots with his mother and he went to throw away the feelings and that was the last thing you remembers and that from that age all the way to about 26 years old he doesn't remember anything. When he asks his siblings and his mother what was he like during those years of Amnesia has he calls it and they say to him that he was like a zombie that it didn't talk much kept to himself he wasn't Moody it was just completely and utterly dull. Richard expresses to me sometimes with tears in his eyes that he literally feels like he was plucked out of existence for that time. That he doesn't remember anything you can't remember girlfriend's you can't remember friends he made k-member his studies and school he can remember anything it was like he was plucked out of that time of his life and it really freaks him out. He also wanted to show me something that really freaked him out and it freaks me out as well. He has he's weird marks on his body into places on the inside of his left knee and behind his left ear or these perfect oval scars and when you feel them they're actually like holes their indentations so this is what I wanted to share I want to make sure that everything is spelled correctly it's not going to be perfect so please Don't Judge Too harshly thank you.

One day I took it to the supermarket with my mum and I specifically remember leaving it in the shopping cart because I even remember us going back looking for it the same day once we realised I had left it. We never found it, but I moved out from my mum's house a few years ago and while going through my old boxes we found the purple bunny. We were so freaked out. Sometimes parents "misplace" things when they want their children to stop playing with them because of possible bad habits or to force them to learn to not be so attached to things, and then pack them away for keepsakes, like we did with one of our sons blankets. Every time he had it he would suck his fingers, so we "Lost it" one day and put it in the closet. We then gave it back to him a few years later when he was older and he fell asleep with it and magically his fingers were in his mouth again. Poof, "Lost" it again.

I don’t have any photographic proof of anything, however, I have a paper I wrote in college talking about a community service project I did. In the paper I explain how working with disabled children every week for the entire semester really changed my life and how it made me see so many awesome things and blah blah blah...and I have absolutely zero memory of this experience. I found this paper among all the other papers I wrote in college (I kept everything I wrote in an accordion folder). I found it about three years after I graduated, and I had and still have no memory of this service project. I remember a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT service project I did that actually ended up with me working full-time for the non-profit I volunteered for. I remember that service project. I remember sending boxes upon boxes of Christmas gift to the Ukraine. I remember doing grant research and applying for permits and all the necessary things non-profits have to do when dealing with importing and exporting aid. But I have no memory of spending a whole semester playing with disabled children three times a week. You’d think I would remember that. It didn’t occur to me it could be an Mandela effect until this video. I thought I was just going nuts or blocking an apparently pleasant memory for no reason. And the paper I wrote not only has my name and such on it, it actually was hand written, in my own pen, and accompanied by a whole journal of my time with the kids (which is also something I have no memory writing). It’s crazy.

Many years ago my sister had my grandma over to stay for a week. One morning my sister was in the kitchen preparing breakfast and washing up as she went along. My grandma walked in and sat at the kitchen table, my sister had the normal reactions of saying good morning, hope you slept ok, breakfast wont be long. My grandma didn't answer, my sister turned around and looked at her, grandma was sat in her nighty, she had no slippers or shoes on, her hair looked dishevelled and my sister thought she must have had a sleepless night, she was very solemn looking and quiet. She asked grandma if everything was ok and that she seemed to be a bit quiet, my sister looked at her sad face wondering what was wrong, there was no answer so my sister turned away to finish washing her last pan so she could sit down with grandma and find out what the problem was, she had no longer turned her head to the sink when she heard a voice say....Good morning, I must have had a good sleep, I'm up later than normal. My sister turned back to my grandma at the table but she wasn't there, instead she was at the entrance of the kitchen, fully clothed, her hair was in her usual tight curls held in with hair pins, and she had her shoes and stockings on. My sister kept staring at her in disbelief and confusion, then back to the table and back to grandma. We have never found an answer to this, someone said it could have been a astral of my grandma, but why.?

TheGamerO_o.....I cannot think why you should say fake. If it happened it happened, just because it didn't happen to you doesn't mean it didn't happen at all, or that it couldn't happen to others. She or I have no reason to lie, I don't seek attention, approval, or judgement, when I watched this video it just took me back to that time. None of us wanted or expected it to happen, it just happened and there's nothing I, or we, can or could do about it. Have a look on my page and tell me what the anomalies are in my front room that keep coming and going, and don't say I've doctored the cctv camera or video because I wouldn't have the faintest idea where to start, I know nothing about computers like some people do, I can't even put things in folders like pictures, they're all over the place on my p.c, it was a mate who had to download it for me, then he uploaded it to youtube. He's seen it for himself, sat there fascinated watching whats going on. On saying that he didn't believe me at first when I told him till he came round and saw it on screen as it were happening. But.....going back to the Grandma thing, When something so disturbing, (which it was at the time) stays with you for 40 odd years, you never find the answer, but you know it happened, I was there at the time, my sister was white as a ghost wondering what had just happened, it seems very strange to think that someone thinks your a liar. Why do people watch these type of video's if they don't believe it could happen. Myself I would just skip it and watch something else, but we are all different I suppose. Blessings from di.

Maybe it's not your friend, but her doppleganger? When my husband was in college, people kept acting like they knew him, said they met at a party, called him by a different name etc. He would tell them, "Sorry you must be thinking of someone else.". One day we picked up our pictures from Kmart (back when we had real film), however the photos belonged to someone else. Imagine my surprise when one of the persons photographed looked EXACTLY like my husband, except his hair was darker and cut differently. It was his doppleganger.
@truthnfreedomseeker6 жыл бұрын
True, but wouldn't the mom and friend remember her being there then? And upon hearing that she actually wasn't there (in this timeline), that would freak them out. They'd be like, "Wait, no she was there! I remember...blah blah blah." Whatever the case, it's definitely strange!

truthnfreedomseeker - ha ha ha. Sadly you fell for the oldest trick in the book! No matter what...the golden rule when getting caught, never admit shit. "Nope, it wasnt me babe" must have been a doppelgangster or my twin 3rd cousin! No matter what she says, I wasnt there. LOL

truthnfreedomseeker wait didn't she say the mom and friend didn't remember her being there either? I'll go back and listen again but that is what I thought she said. Edit: yes go to the 2:40 mark and you see the mom and friend don't recall this photo nor her graduating from this college.
@truthnfreedomseeker6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that's what makes me think it's someone who looks like her friend, especially since her friend said she would never wear those clothes or have her hair that way. I have a feeling if they went through student photos they would find this mystery woman. Apparently there are 7 people in the world who look just like us. What are the chances one of my husband's would be living in the same area and attending the same university? Could be the same with this woman. While I am open to the idea of The Mandela Effect, most of the time there are other explanations, mainly having to do with memory. This type of strangeness involving people is a bit more complicated, but still requires an open and investigative mind. Its easy to chalk it up to the ME, however a true skeptic will look for all possible explanations.

Marcy Mendoza i had an experience yesterday that brought me here. I play this game with a friend and I could of sworn she finally got her last batch of soldiers. They are hard to get and supper long time to achieve like two years worth of playing. Yesterday I asked her how she was doing and her successfulness with that new strength she had. Well she told me she is no where near achieving them. I laughed and asked to se ether phone, and when I saw that she never unlocked any of them and was in fact a few months away from achieving them I gave her back her phone and just sat there. I felt like I was in another world. I got shivers down my spine and was like I can’t be losing my mind, I have emotions tied to that feeling. Feeling happy looking at the phone a few months earlier and watching her unlock the first one. I was so shocked. Like wtf, one thing about me is, I have stupid good picture memory. My first encounter with Mandela effect: I was sitting on the couch with my cousin watching a show I had just started recording, I was about 4 recordings in when I convinced my cousin to watch it with me. I had already seen the 1st episode 3 times because I research before watching the new episodes. As were watching the first episode, i tell her, "this is my favorite part, where it all begins." I told her my favorite quote of episode 1 was coming up(it was about having a bible in the house), and then the scene comes, I wait for the quote, and nothing. The whole sentence was gone. It left me and my cousin speechless, so to prove to her I wasn't making the Whole thing up, I went back to an article I had read the previous week that criticized the first episode, where I KNOW I read the EXACT quote that was now gone(because they were criticizing the fact she even said it), and there it was in the article, the quote. Of course I thought, it could have been cut out of that scene after. But then I remember that these were recordings. Can they edit a recording? Maybe I'm making too much of it. Idk. That day had me questioning a lot.

I remember something similar happening to me as well. In the 90's there was a Goosebumps movie being shown on Tv that I really liked so I watched it again when it aired a second time on tv. I was left feeling very confused. Both times during about halfway through the movie there was a commercial break. After the commercial break was over, they what at least I thought, recapped the last few minutes of the movie before it went to commercial. Except the actors said different lines than they previously had, and the scenario had changed slightly than how it was prior to the commercials. On two different occasions. It left me feeling very confused. There was no alternate ending and none of the characters discussed deja vu. The movie also didn't change in length and it wasn't shortened to fit a smaller air time allotment. I remember speaking to my mom about how I didn't understand what had happened and she didn't understand it either. This is just one of many strange occurrences that has happened in my life.

I think I found a new Mandela Effect. I was watching an episode of The Odd Couple where Felix buys new furniture,in the shape of hands. In my time line, Oscar sits in one chair and exclaims "I feel like Faye Wray," which gets a big laugh from the audience. Now the line is "I feel like an M&M!" I must have seen this episode over a dozen times and it was always the Faye Wray line. The past has changed.

Possible explanation (rational and boring one, haha😄) could be that the producers didn't think young people would know of Fay Wray so they changed it to an m&m because as we all know, kids and teens love things like chocs...I dunno, just a thought.

That reminds me, when my family and I recently moved. We moved from a house that we were renting for a couple of years. About 2 years ago my family and I started watching, The Walking Dead, first season and my ma was there. The reason why I say it like that is because my ma hates zombies, so it was surprising to me and my brother that she was actually watching the first episode with all of us. Me, brother and my dad. Both my brother and I asked why mom is upstairs with us and thought she hated zombies. Well, my dad said that she'd just wanted to watch it with us. It was a bit weird but we just shrugged and sat down. After a couple of episodes it was time for bed. This was around 11pm or 12am. The next day our ma was at work and dad was probably sleeping or on his computer. For some reason my memory is a bit fuzzy cause I can't seem to remember the morning as if the morning never happened and felt like I awoke at night? I'm actually right now trying to remember but I can't? Anyways, later that night at 9pm, my bro and I came upstairs to watch more of the show. This time we only saw dad sitting on the couch. We both asked him, "Where's ma? We thought she was going to watch another episode with us?" Dad looked at us and said, "What are you talking about? She's at work. And what do you mean "watch another episode with us?" I said, "Well, she was here last night sitting next to you watching the first couple of episodes with us." And this was the most confusing thing yet, "She WASN'T here last night, she was working." That gave both of us a chill down our spins cause we still remember "her" being with us that night but oddly enough, we can't remember the morning that next day. It's still pretty troubling that not just me that night but me and my bro experienced something that really tripped our minds. We tried to ask them again a year later about it. Dads answers were the same. And ma, "What are you guys talking about? I wasn't here that night watching, The Walking Dead, you both know I hate zombies and I was working that night." So we stopped asking them. I've experienced the paranormal many times and sometimes the Mandela Effect but that, that was something different. It's still trippy now especially with some of my memory not being there when morning came. This world to me at least is feeling a bit more different especially after that. Eh, it's interesting though, I must say!!!!

Ugh I've had some really weird experiences and when you made the military brats comment, you gave me like this huge chill. Both of my parents just retired from a full military career. My mom spent most of her career in one of the most secretive air guard/air force bases in the US where they have special one-of-kind equipment (but my mom was just basic admin duties) and my dad was SUPER high up in the Navy when he retired last year. I once asked him if the military ever really had anything to do with aliens or things of that nature and he got a bit irritated and told me he didn't want to talk about that. I never asked again.... I believe that there is definitely more out there than the government lets on. There have been a ton of stories and such about the base my mom worked at with having to do with dabbling in "future" technologies and alienistic things. Just really weird though, when you said that. I hadn't fully put those things together for myself yet.

I was bothered by the fact I did not remember him that I went home and searched my yearbooks and I did not find him anywhere. I want to a very small high school everybody knew everybody. When I was young my parents took me and my siblings to a man made beach on the lake with my mother's family. I was a terribly shy child as I was born with a Cleft Palette and was bullied quite often. I was extremely close with my twin sister who was not born with this affliction. While there a young boy around the same age as I approached only me and asked to play. I was surprised as normally I was shunned by other children. We played the entire day. We only parted when my family called for us as it was time to leave...He seemed disappointed and turned to leave. I wanted to see him once more before we actually left, but he was no where to be viewed. Here is where it gets odd...My twin remembers this dark hair child, however no one else in my family does. My eldest sister remembers that day clearly and does not recall the boy. After that day I fell in love with the name Adam. I do not know if this was the boy's name...At thirty four I met and dated a dark haired gentleman named Adam. Unfortunately, he passed away November 23, 2015. He is the man in my profile photo.

I watched a movie the other day called Rockabye and I remember seeing this movie in the late 80's, there was a scene in the movie that scared the living sh*t out of me, it was a decapitated head of a detective on the top shelve in this closet, now fast foward to this year that scene doesn't even exist anymore, like it was never in the movie, I don't know what's going on in this world but it's weird ! it's like when you put something down and you know you put it in that certain spot but now it's in a totally different spot !

The movie, that's probably a case of editing for length to fit into timeslots on TV channels. Setting something down and then its not where you put it. Its right where you put it. You just think you set in the other location. Unless you are married and then your wife moved it on you.

I remember I used to watch a show about people with mysterious illnesses. This particular episode was about a paramedic who was having a these symptoms fatigue and shortness of breath to name a couple. Well low and behold they finally gave him an HIV test......... it came back positive!!! They talked about how the wife tested but was not positive but I cannot remember what was said about the kids so I assume they were ok too. Years later I see the same episode and 💥 💥 💥 he only had pneumonia!!!! 🤦🏾♀️

This might just be a minor thing but its really creeping me out. So i'm currently 16 and i remember that when i was in grade 2 or 3 (im from germany, the school system is a bit different i guess) we did an "experiment" with wine glasses (you know the ones where you spin your finger on the edge of the glass and it makes a sound) and some people of my class where talking about it the next day and i couldn't remember any of that one hour. I do remember going to school that day and attending classes except that one hour. that one hour is completly blank in my head. When I asked the other pupils, they all claimed that i was in that class and participated in that experiment.

I remember very clearly that in 2001 I was reading a now called Berenstain bear to my 3 year old daughter. It was the spooky old tree book and I remember how I was teaching her to correctly pronounce words. So, we went over the title to begin with and I remember pronouncing it with -stein at the end and not -stain. The following day we're going to use a different book and I was shocked at seeing the book had the ending -stain and thought that I had gone crazy. The Mandela effect is very real.
@aroyalesavage19382 жыл бұрын
WHOA. WHOA. WHOA!!! I had the SAME experience! I LOVED the Berenstain Bears as a kid and vividly remember it being spelled Berenstein Bears & I had always verbally pronounced it that way. Then a few years ago (I’m currently in my 30s) I started a job at a daycare center & since ai love books I checked out what the class had. When I saw the bears book I grabbed it, excited to see which one it was. When I saw the spelling end in “stain” I was shocked. I even said to my other teacher “Berenstain Bears? I thought it was Berenstein…” I had totally forgotten about this until i read your comment. Just wow.

The photo doesn't look photo-shopped to me, she looks bigger because the photo is taken from above and angled down, and because she is further away from the camera she is nearer the top edge of the photo making her look bigger. Also you can see the pale coloured collar in the first picture. However its still interesting she doesn't remember it.

Just recently I've been getting videos of the Mandela Effect in my recommended. I don't know why it's there, I don't watch much about Mandela Effects but I find it interesting. And also the Mandela effect seems to be happening recently to people. Back when the Mandela effect was discovered, everyone realized they were having a Mandela effect, but then as time passed not much people were talking about the Mandela effect, until recently where people have realized things aren't how they are or were. Maybe a catastrophic event happened and this is a restoration? Have we recently started to live in two dimensions simultaneously? People's memories being restored to a previous state just like how Windows can be restored to a previous build? Just bad memory? I have no idea.

I rescued my sister and pulled her out after she fell through the ice. 35 years later, me and my sister remember the snow and ice covered pond but according to my mum there was no snow at all that day. All of us can remember details such as clothing worn and colour of jackets yet for my mum there was no snow at all. Weird.

I live in Israel in our currency is called shekel (NIS). When I was a kid I remember that we had 1, 2, 5 and 10 shekel coins. 1 and 2 were the smallest and exactly the same in it's size, color and shape except for the number. I remember it so clearly because whenever I've found this small coins in the street I would always hope it would be 2 shekels and extremely happy when it actually was or a bit bummed when it turned out to be 1 shekel. At the age of 7 a left for 3 years to another country and when I came back it took me a while to notice that no one actually uses 2 shekel and that they were nowhere to be found. I didn't talk to anyone about it as I thought that maybe I didn't encounter them yet, but I still hopped that it is 2 shekels and not 1 whenever I found these small coins. After a while a forgot about them at all... until 2007 or 2009. They declared a production of a new coin - 2 shekels, but this one was bigger than 1 shekel, yet smaller than 5, and had in total looked different than 1 shekel or the old 2 shekels. I was extremely confused "New coins? Didn't it exist already before?". This time I did spoke up my confusion and asked parents, friends, teachers, even random people, but everyone told me that such coin never existed and I just imagine stuff. I searched for any proof multiple times, but found nothing. But I clearly remember to this day that specific feeling of happiness whenever the little coin on the ground turned out to be 2 shekels.

I tried to kill myself when I was younger, but a few years ago I brought it up during an argument and my parents had no memory of what was possibly the most traumatic thing to ever happen to my family. My mum and dad just assumed I was making it up or I imagined it all, but I know it happened. I just chalked up them forgetting it to them being terrible parents, which still might be the case. I've had too many of these experiences now and I think this might also be one of them.

I’m old enough that when I was in middle school, we still had “typing” and “computer” classes in school. I remember *distinctly* playing a game that was supposed to help us type correctly. There was little cartoon birds that would show where to click, and when you clicked the right key, you got them “worms” to eat. If you clicked the wrong key, you got them “bees” that would sting the birds. Again, I remember this so. damn. vividly. Well, recently I wanted to see what the game was, and couldn’t find any trace of it online. I asked some friends of mine I’ve had since middle school, all of whom where in that same class as me, and three of them also remember it vividly. They each described the game perfectly, exactly how I remembered it, each without my influence or eachother’s influence. I literally just asked each of them, alone “hey, what was that typing game we had to play in Mr. “R”’s class? And they all answered with the exact same description, all with a sort of nostalgic glee lol. Then there was one friend who had *zero* memory of it. He’s literally convinced we’re making it up to fuck with him. He thinks we’re insane, making up fake worms and bees and birds lol. We were so frustrated over this stupid fucking game, that, after wasting a bunch of time fighting about it and digging all over the depths of the internet for it, that we literally ended up finding a yearbook from back then just to find Mr. R’s first name, and found him on facebook. When he finally accepted our friend request, we asked him if he remembered the game too. He said he vaguely remembered it. That our class and a few classes behind us were the only ones to ever play it before something new came along, but he couldn’t remember the name either. What he could remember was identical to what we remembered. So, we ended up messaging *more* students from that class. About half the class thinks we’re insane and have no memory of the game. The other half vividly remember it too, just can’t remember the name for the life of them, either. It’s been over a year since all of that, and none of us (20+ students and our ex teacher) can still not find any trace of the fucking game anywhere. It’s like it never existed. At all. We can find every other random game we played back then, just not this one. It pisses me off so much, because I KNOW it existed. I know this isn’t as exciting as the pictures in this video, but still, I figured I’d share anyway haha. Sorry for the novel!
@FingersCrossedBeauty6 жыл бұрын
A quick description of the game for anybody interested: it was your basic layout of the keyboard on the screen, and a word would come up, presented on a banner held by birds on either end. The graphics were from the early 2000s so they were shitty, and the birds were an exaggerated cartoon style, but still cute. So, after the birds would unroll the banner, the keys would light up on screen, again, like your typical typing game from back then. There would be more birds lined up in grass above the keyboard on the screen, and it would look like the keyboard is “underground” in the dirt. When each key would light up, if you hit it correctly, one of the birds would get a worm and chirp all happily. If you would hit the wrong key, or hit it out of order, a bird would get a bee, and it make a sad “womp” sound, look sick, and you’d lose a point in the game. There was always some typical, standard “cheery” music in the background, and a pixilated blue sky. Again, the graphics weren’t good at all compared to today’s standards, but they were pretty good for the time. It was actually a fun game, and part of the reason I (and my friends) remember it so clearly is because we actually looked forward to playing it, and we’d compare scores every day after class.

Looks like a photo from another timeline in which she had an accident, the right arm seems to be entirely missing as does her right breast. Car crash? Who knows. I'm happy she doesn't have memory of that alternate self. Also something I've been pondering, what if people are disappearing from our own timelines without us having any memory of it except residual evidence, like the girl in the comment section who had a photo on her mobile that she didn't remember taking photos with and deleting it. We might not exist in different timelines and then suddenly be shifted there without noticing until people around you aren't quite as you remembered but you can't put a finger on it. Meanwhile back in our own timeline our families won't even remember us existing. Or see us as "this person photo bombing our family picture". Scary to think that whole back to the future plot is possible.

Yet these are apparently common terms which other friends of mine from the same school remember learning about. The first time I heard of Oceania a couple of years ago I thought it was a joke.

Could be a doppelganger. My sister met her double in high school. They weren't perfect doubles though, you wouldn't even guess they looked similar beyond hair color and shape of face... except in photos. For some bizarre reason, they looked freakishly identical in photos. My sister was in the yearbook club, and as they went through the boxes of photos (yes, I'm that old too) she honestly could not tell her and her double apart in some pictures. The weird thing is, no one could say if my sister looked more like her photo twin in the pictures, or if the twin looked more like her. They both seemed to morph into this other, perfectly identical person. It was so weird.

Very interesting about your sister's high school twin, but if that were the case in this scenario then, pertaining to the picture if the 3 women together, my friend's mother is attending the graduation of a total stranger and my friend's best friend is hanging out with a twin she remembers not...

This isn't really a Mandela effect as it sounds more like it could be time traveling . I agree her gown in the second picture looks disheveled and her hand isn't there and her body looks disproportionate. That's really creepy.

Kimberly 84 That was my initial thought. Time travel. But then there people including me remembering different human anatomy. How could that be explained by only time travel? Dont get me wrong, I'm positive time travel has been invented by now and in multiple realities. But there is more at play here. We're not seeing the full chess board.

We can kind of see that her arm is inside her gown, making it look like her body is a bit weird, which also explains no hand, and the gown being elevated that arms shoulder. In my opinion, whoever the girl in that picture is, was just trying to be funny

M88 S28 May I ask what alternate human anatomy you remember? I'm very curious...

How would she have time traveled and not know about it? And the pictures were taken in the same era.

Thank you and PLEASE tell your friend that I thought I was the only one person who went through this photo thing.....!!! One time when my mother was still alive, we almost got into a heated discussion because I asked her who was the person in the photo we were looking at. She (rather disgusted) kept telling me that it was me. I recognized the dog I was holding but I kept insisting that it was NOT me....!!!!! To this day, I know with everything that I am that it was NOT ME!!!! Please tell your friend I fully understand and I feel her pain....... I guess I had already commented to you and I just received your message. Just need to let you know how much it meant to me....... You’re awesome. Good thoughts of you always. Thank you so very much again.

Debra Ross Thank YOU-I’m ‘she” the girl who unbeknownst previously, travels through dimensions! I know what you mean- I would ABSOLUTELY know if a picture was of me! Like minded! Obviously, I feel your frustration! 💜 I think it’s all pretty cool though- have had “unique “ experiences all my life so very little freaks me out anymore!

Now, if it weren't for that third picture, I would have said the person in pic 1 was just a random passerby that looked similar to your friend, and accidentally photo-bombed, but that third pic is pretty out there.

I think that we are in a computer simulation and we get patched and updated. And during the updates some glitches happen that makes us remember how it was before the patches. And I think that the biggest update or patch was made around 2009-2012.

Thanks for sharing this, it is just another example of this weird Mandela Effect going on. Now many people are having experiences. I had bought a Minion drawstring backpack at Universal a few years ago. I remember when I bought it it had the one eye and I really contemplated whether I wanted to walk around with one eye on my back. I thought it might be a bit strange. But I bought it anyway. Two years later I go to take it out and it now it has 2 eyes with a mouth! I had to take a step back and think for a minute but I clearly remember what I bought. My family thinks I am crazy but this was my own personal experience with it. I like the results of this Mandela effect, I got the backpack I like better!
