At the end I imagine that the coordinates from the top left to bottom right ere almost the same, except for a small difference many decimal places out. So you needed to make some kind of arbitrary precision floating point library to do the calculation. How many bits wide were these numbers?

Awesome zoom. What do you use to render these? (Btw, I use the much slower method of drawing it by hand. So far I've drawn a 41x41 grid and did 10 iterations, but now I drew a 161x161 grid. This time I wrote a JavaScript thing to calculate the iterations for me, because even using a calculator it is a massive pain doing it yourself.)

I used Kalles Fraktaler. I don't advice to use high-level languages for calculations. For 2560x1440 you should use FASM. It is real difficult language, but you can optimize programms with SIMD instructions. And, try to realize Mariani/Silver guessing...

SeryZone X I don't know how I can apply all that to drawing by hand. I'll never be able to find a piece of paper that I can draw a 2560x1440 grid onto it. All the co-ordinates on my 161x161 grid though only go to three decimal places, so my Javascript thing will work just fine for this. Although if I ever do a fractal zoom I will take your advice. Thanks ;)
