Olivia tried to warn yall. 😂 Mandi was always problematic and Bridget was always too Kumbaya to tell it like it is and see, the thing is, when you do that, you empower the bully and diminish yourself. Bridget, like the audience, was getting tired of listening to her ghetto, can’t put a sentence together, still talking about her “corporate” job at E&Y self. We won’t even get into the real tea about Ernst & Young, because I had an ex from Chicago, black male, who got hired by them, and still works for them - but everytime I saw this man I couldn’t help but wonder how in the world they could give this boy responsibility over anything. And that comes from someone who also worked corporate. E&Y YES is a top firm but she was in that same runt accounting position my ex was in 😂 and that shit back then was just human paper pushers. So keep it light on the I came from corporate.

@mbealhighjump 3-4 years later I don't think that was the issue. They new there were fees that needed to be paid. They wanted the staff to get paid and did just that. The problem is Joe used money for all his other network ventures. Example the failed Karen Civil show. I think R&M wasn't cool with that. He taking their profits and starting new shows that only he would profit on. Win/win for Joe. I could be completely wrong but that's what I think reading between what people have stated.

After studio/space rental and equipment, personnel is the next highest expense. Keep personnel costs to a minimum and work with people that can wear multiple hats.

The most interesting part of all this is that NOTHING was learned from the JBP breakup. Everybody wanted to choose sides and take shots, etc. but didn't learn the actual lessons they should have learned from it. Both of them acted so "above" Joe's business dealings and the issues he had, only to break up for the same exact reasons! 1. Partnership vs. Talent: Everybody wants to be a "boss" and get treated like such even if they really are just "talent". I don't know why people think it's such a bad thing to be talent; if you're not willing to take on the responsibility of being the boss; if you just want to perform, then you're talent and that's 100% fine. It might even be more profitable because you're not standing behind expenses. 2. Business vs. Friendship: Your friendship has 0 to do with business. If you enter into a business relationship, handle it as such; contracts, terms and conditions, splits, etc. No handshake deals, no giving titles just for the sake of it, get the lawyers and accountants involved. This is especially important if y'all ain't really friends. If you want to pretend for the public, that's fine, but you should backend dealings should reflect the reality. (sidebar: It's hilarious how they were allegedly pissed at Joe for trying to "steal" Bridget from Mandii, when they weren't even really friends. He knew that, so why would he have a problem with doing that business?) 3. Division of Labor: These are all related really but you gotta have the convo about how labor is being divided; be clear about expectations, and the payment should match. Mandii has nobody to blame for agreeing to split money 50/50 and then do all the work. And knowing that she had the prior experience and such, it was clear they'd be leaning on her expertise for all of that. Even if she thought Bridget would learn on the job, that should have been a renegotiation or some sort of clause that takes effect after a set point. At the same time, I do think Bridget has a point in valuing her role in leveraging her relationships to land celebrity guests; if those guests became a significant driver of the podcast then it does carry some weight. They should have sat down and done some renegotiating and been realistic about who was doing what.

The points you made here are perfect. At a bare minimum, I believe every podcast partnership should discuss these three points in depth and have contracts stating in detail what was agreed upon. It may not stop the disagreements or breakups but it would remind those involved of their own accountability. It's easy to blame the other party during a breakup because we rarely want to identify our own failings or missteps. I actually like both Mandii and Bridget and believe they both added suitable content to the podcast space. I also believe they are equally responsible for the breakup of their podcast/friendship. Duality is a thing! Shout out to Shanti and Antoinette from Around the Way Curls podcast!😍😍😊😊

The comments you made are valid and if you watched the entire live Mandii outline and read verbatim their scope of work, roles and division of labor. Mandii shared that she never did any of her actual responsibilities including not being able to bring talent or perform when needed. It also seems like Mandii said said they had several conversations to adjust and make changes, but BK didnt do it. I always felt that STTI was in response to her not having a great relationship with Weezy and it was her way of trying to duplicate the success she and Weezy created in Whorible Decisions. You live. You learn. Next podcast subject.

@@jewel761 I definitely only watched clips so I trust you are correct. If it was contractual and BK is in breech, Mandii shouldn't even be negotiating for the IP & assets. But if it was just conversations... 😬. The irony of this is it seems they really needed to be on a network. It doesn't sound like BK was ready for independence.

Lol. Mandy doesn’t even get along with her Co-host from whorible decisions. They ended thier friendship and only have a professional relationship. And they distance themselves from each other when they are not working to maintain that relationship. It’s like the girl crying wolf. She may be telling the truth but I believe the problem lies with the way she communicates and goes about handling business

I relate to Mandii so much, i think what I learned is.. sometimes silence is the answer. We should know none of this. She shouldn’t have sent those initial tweets, she shouldn’t have talked about the show after it ended, she should’ve just left it to the conspiracy theorist and got to the bag. It’ll all speak for itself

What I got from this video is that she wanted to be in the position to say she did all the work which is why she took on the roles that she did. If Bridget was that horrible why fight for something so hard if it wasn’t working? I’m not about to stick my neck out there when my counterpart isn’t doing their share. I don’t feel bad for Mandii. I think Blue and Bridget need to take that video off Patreon and make it public since Mandii did this live….this is such an “I’ll Name at his Later Podcast” drama bullshit. I only watched See The Thing Is for Bridget, not Mandii…there’s other things I want to discuss aside from sex and romantic relationships, that’s why I don’t listen to Whorible Decisions…Mandii make work hard but she’s obnoxious to me at times…and litigation for what? You think you worked hard and Bridget may feel the same way…now what?!? 🤷🏽♀️

What are people not getting about the 35K? Mandi wanted to split all assets evenly and Bridget wanted only certain assets. Bridget wanted the RSS feed and two other things and give Mandi the others…. But then said if Mandi took the rss feed she had to pay Bridget 35K. Mandi told her you can have all this stuff and you give me 35K but Bridget can’t do that. That’s dumb
