Thank you for this video, I now understand why I have been experiencing a complete lack of wanting anything at all from the external world yet still experiencing an incredible joy inside. I hear nothing that anyone says that either means anything to me or can effect me in anyway. You have shown me how I might continue to be. The recordings on conscious TV have helped me to this place. Kindest regards Dean

All of these people come onto this show and share their stories, all which are mostly quite similar, yet they all parrot the same phrases, the same expressions, the same ideas, which forces me to wonder whether or not they've truly understood their own unique, individual experiences. Seemingly, this lady only has the first piece of the puzzle: Self-Inquiry.

beautiful expression of this That we all are in this drama of life on earth, true expression of one who tasted this marvel of what really is as us in this drama of life’s journey

Nice video. Being human is complex. We have a physical, (egoic) self and a spiritual, (oneness) self and often the two are in conflict. The spirit wants to live in the here and now and the ego is mostly focused on yesterday and tomorrow. The spirit is essence and the ego is material. To arrive at the highest state on contentedness, these two must be in balance. Enlightenment is simply seeing the world as it is, but most of us want the world to change to fit our image of what it should be.

It's all right. Some get an Awakening for free, start seeking to understand what happened, peel of the mind and liberation might happen. Some others start seeking, peel of the mind, have little awakenings/satori on the way and liberation might happen. And there are many variations to these scenario's. You get what you need. Anyway, the work (for example inquiry, bhakti, jnana, with or without guru, or plain psychotherapy, integration, embodyment, it goes by lots of concepts), has to be done, before, whilst or after. It's never finished actually. And in the mean while, life and wholeness happens to enjoy.

"Awakening is the first step but then you have to clear up the whole world" - can anyone refer me to the video that Renate mentions here, I would like to see that quote in context. Great interview, Mandi manages to be very down-to-earth, yet engaging and enthusiatic at the same time.

In Vedanta there are numerable teachings that explain all the yogic experiences people can possibly have. It is the science of what these people would call "awakenings". Vedanta has sorted reality out completely and teaches mature humans who and what they truly are. It explains the cosmos, the psyche, the material world and explains in detail how we fit into, or it fits into us. People have GOT to be mature emotionally in order to realize the self in a firm manner.

Great interview - some real meat to it, and a lovely, honest, courageous lady. God bless her for saying these things. I'm sure she's comforting many as she shares her journey. Thank you both so much :)

There are actually three phases, with ALE being a mnemonic: Awakening - Liberation - Embodiment.

Not sure, but it may be that it's the words, themselves that are the issue here. There's nothing in words - no knowledge, no enlightenment - just indicators or pointers. The difference in listening from mind vs from heart is huge, with Heart holding the potential for direct experience of what's represented by the words. Anyway, what struck me in reading your comment was that if all the unacquainted, different folks are saying the same things, then that points to an ancient, underlying wisdom.

Interesting. Can't disagree. But what I'd share is that there are layers & levels of knowledge - the lower ones being of less value to the "ascending" soul - ascending being via frequency. Since we are already multidimensional beings, it's largely a matter of where we're placing our focus or attention - the levels we're choosing. I agree with all you say about the 3D level - it's just that this level isn't the highest one, in my experience Heart, to me, isn't about emotion - it's far deeper

Great stuff. I remember enjoying her previous interview and prior awakening experiences. What she's saying here is an answer to cynics who decry the value of the kind of naturalistic approach to awakening the West is developing. Sure, Satoris and epiphanies are not all that uncommon, and sure, people who just have them aren't necessarily qualified as teachers and maybe shouldn't immediately set up websites with books for sale and all the rest of it. But I think so long as people stay honest, it's ok, it works itself out, peoples' experiences deepen, those who really want to teach deepen their own experiences out of a sense of integrity, etc., etc. Ultimately, the more perspectives we have on "it", the better. IOW, it's possible for someone to be an old skool teacher and canvass all experiences they can so they can meet any student at their level; but it's also possible for there to be lots of different teachers who can teach people who are simpatico with them.

The self or sat is the seer and alone is sentient. Mithya or the apparent world that everyone takes to be real seems real because I the sentient self am associated with it. This nice lady in my humble opinion should not talk about her "experiences" as a teaching device, but if she is merely sharing then this imo is fine and okay.

I'd disagree, a decent chunk of knowledge is strictly due to language and our ability to communicate with one another. But, I'm not watching the video to directly experience what's represented by the words; I'm not watching the video to feel her words emotionally. I think a good portion of these people aren't necessarily frauds, but, they're probably in the earlier stages of transformation, or so it seems. In my opinion, if one can't express their experience(s) adequately, they then are certai
