Great video, thanks! It not only speeds the onset of anesthesia but it also helps with dizziness. I've had these injections before lying back, and sometimes the dentist forgets to sit me up and I get nervous. Instantly when you sit upright, that nervousness / dizzyness goes away. Hard to explain, but just thought I'd mention it

Long bucal injection does not hurt if you change needle to a thinner gauge and also be sure that the needle is contacting bone before injecting!

I’ve had this injection done. NOTHING can prepare you for the jolt you will feel if the dentist hits the nerve. but my dentist ( before she got transferred) was really attractive 😍

Maybe because you are injecting the anesthetic farther/deeper away from the right spot, causing the solution to be deposited on the masseter muscle.

I had wisdom tooth extraction of impacted tooth. My complain is the floor of my tongue hurts now. Also if I keep my fingers on side near adam's apple, I feel like pulling on floor of my tongue. It hurts, why is this so?
