@@Jet-Jots I think Scarlet/Violets visuals are overall better. Scar/Vio has enough texture detailing and the Model designs all look 'natural' (organic?) and fantastic. Snap 2 looks very clean and the resolution is maxed out possibly the best youll get on Switch but the models seem a bit, I dunno 'soulless'. Only slightly, but there's just something a bit off about them despite being so clean.

Everyone else is focused on gogoat and skiddo, being able to choose your order of play, and the new raid gimmick. I’m just happy that woopers type finally matches it’s VERY FIRST dex entry! The first mention of wooper being covered in a poisonous film is literally in Pokémon silver. It’s been two decades… and our woopy boy is finally a poison type.

Also, just acknowledging that so far Gamefreak/Pokemon is laying it on with the jokes, with things like Lechonk, Smolive (Smol is a cute way to say small often seen in memes) and Prof Turo looking like the "Chad" meme. It has come to my attention that briefly during the trailer sawsbuck is found in the wild in both its autumn form and summer form. This is the first time this has happened since gen 5 since before if you wanted a non summer form sawsbuck you had to have it transferred. So this means ether depending on the biome that will dictate the form of sawsbuck or seasons will be making a return in gen 9.

Really excited with wooper. They are a ground and poison. The first since the nido family all the way back to gen 1. I wasn't a huge fan of the legendaries at first but they look better in game too me. The bread dog is cute but not for me either . The ice type looks great but he's pure ice so I hope his stats are good. Also the map of the region is on the website

Wooper even has the ability Water Absorb, which gives it a water immunity. Cetitan has the ability thick fat, which lessens fire and ice type effectiveness. Don’t forget the new gimmick allows you to change the type temporarily!

The different seasons of Sawsbuck are finally back!!! Winter was always my favorite form so bring stuck with one form sucked. I wonder if the areas will be the "seasons" since the different Sawsbuck are in different areas. It'd be so cool to see an area where all the seasons meet and you can find a place with all four Sawsbuck together like in that Anime episode. Maybe there could be a rare Tera Sawsbuck there.

I think the terastalize gimmick is pretty cool imagine the gym leader using a pokemon that is not their type but when they terastalize it changes into said type. Also terastalize brings alot of fun into competitive and essentially gives your team one more type coverage tho i'll admit the hat think looks kinda whack and i would have preffered if they were covered in crystal and had the type symbol just show up somewhere notceable

Take with a grain of salt, but a few leaks mention that Terastalling Fuecoco's final evo gets a rooster on its head. This COULD mean that certain Pokemon get special forms as well like Mega and Gigantamax.

I read on serebii that terastalized pokemon change type and gain stab for its new type, but also still for it's original types moves. Basically it's a gimmick version of protean/libero. I mean after terastalizing your dual type pokemon, you have three stab type moves, while being one type for the rest of the battle. This is gonna be fun.

Doubtful. There is a meta for anything and everything. That's like saying that a pokemon's differing movesets add unpredictability. They don't. This is because pros already know what's best and know that other pros also know this. The only way this affects competitive is making it a hassle to get the right Tera Typing, in addition to EV's, IV's, and natures

If you transfer Gogoat from Pokemon Bank to Pokemon HOME, it is stuck in Pokemon HOME until SV release because it is not obtainable and transferrable to any Switch games before SV. (LGPE, SwSh, BDSP, PLA)

Since wooper and quagsire are based on axolotls who pretty much only live in water due to being unable to naturally metamorphosise into their adult form. Since now wooper lives on land I think their evolution will reflect that fact

I love that Mikey and John are the only major Pokétubers who have pronounced Cetitan, Fidough, Paldea, and Terastallize all correctly, right off the bat. From what I've seen, aDrive, Austin John, Moxie, and Purplecliffe all goofed one or more of the names at first glance.

They've lost touch with reality, like a lot of people nowadays. Pokemon is dead. Each new game introduces a new bs gimmick nobody needs or asked for. Terastallized Pokemon look like fake Holo Pokemon Cards. The new designs are horrendous and gameplaywise they don't really add any cool features. A legendary with wheels, but still uses it legs to "drive" around? Like wtf, how can any sane human being look forward to this garbge? Then again, I look at other games, movies, music and even the news and understand we live in a clown world today. No more soul or passion, just milking and delusional on every corner.

They really have been leaning into the Poison and Ghost types for Johto regional variants. Ghost types: Hisuian Typhlosian Galarian Corsola and Cursola Poison types: Galarian Slowking Hisuian Qwilfish and Overqwil Hisuian Sneasel and Sneasler

Terastalize seems like it's really helpful for Pokemon with bad matching stats. Physical Electric pokemon are a good example. Electivire for example suffers from having good attack but bad type to make use of it. You can change Electivire to Ground type and make it get STAB Earthquake

It’s so weird Koraidon (scarlet legendary) still runs on all fours even if he already has wheels. Miraidon (violet legendary) looks way cooler as a motorcycle. I’m buying Violet now for sure because I don’t wanna ride awkward Koraidon running on all fours whilst having wheels.

But yes, he is the rugged type so seeing him turn into a full on Tribal Dirt Bike transformer would have been the coolest thing going but instead he looks goofy and ridiculous like he swallowed a whole motorbike and is running to the doctors lol.

@@netweed09 i mean i get that Koraidon represents the “past” (tribal theme), but they could have designed it better to not run on all fours all the time in land travel mode. perhaps once in a while it kicks the ground to push or propel itself forward. but it should be, for the most part, just using its wheels. because what’s the point of it being a motorcycle or a bike when it’s still running with four legs? bad decision by Pokemon company. very bad. I bet the sales of Scarlet will be low. Most people are gonna wanna buy Violet.

From the art we have seen I don't believe that the "wheels" for Koraidon are actually spinning wheels. It seems like they are just, crests or something.... precursors to Miraidon's wheels
