Brilliant performance by this wonderful artist par excellence. Masterly control over the raga even when rendering at speed shows how good U Srinivas is.

Still I don't understand how one can play with so much speed, perfection -- Raga, Tala, Bhava. OMG. Missing him a lot :((

there were, are and will be many classical music performers they come into two categories:- 1) who practiced from their childhood and became one of the best at what they do Ex: Rajesh vaidya, L sankar, Ganesh Kumaresh etc 2) who were sent by god to do that. there are only two people in this category *U. Srinivas* and *M. Balamuralikrishna*

I can think of a couple more. Gottuvaadyam (Chitraveena) Ravikiran, Flute Mali
I can identify only Umashakarji here other then Srinivas. Umashankar just ROCKS as usual !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Divine ! I think the Lord Siva wanted to have him closer and so called him ! The accompanying artists also did their best to make it sound even better. Special mention about Umashankar sir who was not only playing so well the Ghatam but also was completely lost in enjoying the music of his fellow artists ! Loved it !
