This looks amazing, and plays amazing. Wow. Same with most other soulslikes, though, it seems like a breeze to just sprint / dodge past all the regular enemies on the way to your objective / the next checkpoint. I dislike that, very much. Yes, I know I'm the only person that does, lol.

When he turns to run right the shield is in his left hand. And when he runs to the left ,the shield is in his right hand

This is very common in side scrolling games. otherwise the shield will be blocking the character.
