I can just close my eyes and see brooklyn back then. It doesn't look or feel the same anymore. This music reallty represents brooklyn at that time. Which was home to me. Thank you for posting.

On this day in 1975 {May 17th} Mandrill performed "Peck Ya Neck" and "Wind On Horseback" on the nationally syndicated television program, 'Soul Train'... Both songs were tracks from the Brooklyn, NY group's six studio album 'Solid', and at the time the album was a position #27 on Billboard's Top R&B Albums chart, four weeks later it would peak at #18 (for 1 week}... @THEATHLETICBACHELOR I had big hopes for this song as well, but it turns out this was big at High School and College dances but not much more. The rest of this LP had a different style that I came to appreciate maybe 10 years later.
